Most people have relatives like seniors in this video. They insist on paying for literally everything. But when two serial “payers” come head to head, this is what happens.

People aged 70 plus have a lot of fine qualities. One of their most admirable habits is the fact that they love to pay for anything that they do with their relatives.

There’s no bill too small for them to pay for!

So when sisters Genevieve and Arlene (who go by the names Gee and Ginga) went out for hotdogs with Gee’s daughter, it was a race between the two seniors to pay up first.

Ginga, who at 99-years-old is the younger sister, was first to the draw, whipping the cash out from her purse while the 104-year-old Gee was still rummaging around, looking for change. This time, Ginga had settled the bill, or so it seemed.

As Gee and Ginga drove with Gee’s daughter to another destination, Gee finally had the time to scrape together all of the money for the food.

So she picked the cash up, rolled it in her hand and tried to hand it to Ginga. “Hey Arlene, take this,” said Gee.

Ginga knew what Gee was trying to do, but she played dumb. “What’s that for?’ she asked.

But Gee refused to take the bait. Instead, she tried to end the situation right away. “Take it. I’ll tell you later what it’s for.” Clearly, this scene had played out many, many times in the past.

Ginga kept on asking why her sister was handing her money. Gee kept on saying “Take it,” without clarification.

Eventually, Gee tried another trick to get Ginga to take the cash. “I’m getting tired holding it,” she stated. So now she was trying to guilt her sister into taking the money.

Then Ginga stated what the money argument was really about (although both the sisters already knew.) “I bought those hot dogs!” she snarled at Gee.

Then Gee’s daughter piped in, trying to resolve the argument. She had seen many times how long a standoff like this could play out between her grandmother and her grandmother’s sister. “Please take it!” She pleaded. “You went and got all the hot dogs.”

But all that this interjection did was make Ginga more determined than ever to refuse the money. “So what? I don’t give a shit,” was her reply.

And Ginga’s rage only increased from there.

She started ranting at Gee, with half of the words she spoke being known only to Ginga herself. Specifically, she said this:

“You put your rambom buh. I’m not give you no napkins. Gee, I got you napkins. Gee, that haptom bee.”

Yes, that made no sense.

Eventually, the argument resolved itself. The conversation moved on to shopping, and Gee quietly put her money back in her purse.

Ginga was even feeling kind enough to offer up the napkins that she had taken from the hot dog place. It turned out that the threat of withholding them was not at all serious!

Then Gee’s daughter pulled in to the gas station. And before either of the elders could get into an argument over paying for the gas, the daughter leaped out, filled up the tank and paid herself.

The “argument” in this video is so precious. We all have relatives like this, who squabble over the most minor things. But the important thing is that they have each other to bother! At the end of the day, isn’t that what family is all about?
