There is absolutely no denying that dogs can be incredibly funny beings sometimes, and that’s definitely the case here. In fact, this video of a playful Great Dane is probably one of the coolest, most unique and funniest animal clips out there on the internet.

In 2015, a video was uploaded of a Great Dane called Gabby discovering a trampoline. It recently went viral with over one and a half million views.

The footage was uploaded by Jeff Davis, who is presumably the neighbor of this Great Dane’s owners. We can’t imagine what kind of funny things he sees on a regular basis! One thing is for sure: dogs in the neighborhood always provide some extra fun, and Jeff must’ve thought it was the perfect opportunity to capture this dog’s hilarious playtime on a trampoline for everyone else to see.

Even though the video is quite short, it’ll most definitely be able to put a smile on your face. You can clearly hear Gabby barking around as she’s jumping high in the air, and it’s just a hilarious sight to behold. It does make you wonder though if the dog was simply curious to see a whole new part of the area now that she could see so high. In any case – it definitely seemed like the trampoline did its job well.

What makes the footage even more special, is that you can just see the happiness and joy on this dog’s face. The four-footer is a perfect embodiment of happiness, and luckily for us, the neighbor was able to take out his smartphone and capture this beautiful moment on tape. And even more, the neighbor’s position proved to be the perfect angle to see it all!

And the fact that it’s a pretty big pooch makes the video even more incredible.

Even though Great Danes are quite impressive in size, they’re often referred to as “gentle giants” because they’re absolutely playful four-footers. If there’s one thing that this trampoline video can confirm, it’s exactly that! They can grow up to 32 inches tall and weigh anywhere between a hundred and 120 pounds as adults.

Because these gentle giants are quite playful, they blend in really well with children, even though they might be a bit scared of their height. Great Danes are incredibly loyal and will always guard their owners and their homes.

Caring for a Great Dane can be a bit difficult though, as these dogs really need to have their free space, especially when they’re still growing up. In other words, a garden is pretty much essential, but that doesn’t seem to be a problem for Gabby. They’ll also need a whole lot of food for that big belly of theirs. After all, how could they otherwise grow so big?

Did you know that Great Danes originate from Germany and not Denmark, despite the name? It’s estimated that they’ve been around for over four centuries. The mastiff species was bred by German nobles because the four-footers served for protection of property.
