Fashion-forward goofy Great Dane won’t stop rocking her adorable doggy crocs

Being a dog doesn’t mean you can’t be fashionable.

Some dog owners love to bling up their dogs. Some have their own clothes like jackets and shirts. Some have jewelry, like bedazzled leashes and all that.

But one dog is obsessed with footwear.

Animals are not really meant to wear shoes.

You can see it in how awkward they walk when they feel their paws aren’t “detaching” from the surface.

Hooch doesn’t mind, though.

And Hooch likes to rock her shoes off.

Crocs, or at least its design, has always been controversial.

We can remember when the first Crocs were released before 2010 and people found the novelty in it.

Then, for some strange reason, people began hating it.

It was only recently that these clogs were getting a warm reception.

So much so that you see them almost everywhere.

You can definitely see them on Hooch.

Dogs and other animals often wear shoes or similar gear to protect their paws from unnatural occurrences on the ground.

Shoes actually help dogs navigate.

Whether it’s concrete or asphalt, they can get around without burning their paws in the summer heat.

The general rule is, if you step on something barefoot and you can’t handle it, your dog won’t be able to handle that too.

Hooch is a fan of paw-wear.

When her owner saw that there are “Crocs” for dogs, she knew she had to get Hooch her pairs.

If Hooch ends up making them a chew toy, Holly Smith thought that at least they can get at least a photo or two of Hooch wearing it.

That wasn’t the case, however. The first time this large dog tried on the shoes, she was hooked.

Smith said Hooch was “instantly excited” when she put them on and was more than willing to do a test walk.

Now she won’t take them off.

When Hooch realized how comfortable it was, she decided to wear the pair every chance she gets.

“She loves them,” Smith said to The Dodo. “She gets extra attention when wearing them.” And who wouldn’t be especially when they see a big dog that’s as fabulous as her size?

And the best part about it? She doesn’t have to deal with the haters because she really doesn’t care about what people think about this style of clogs.

She might be rockin’ knock-offs.

Before you hop on to your favorite online shops, these aren’t real Crocs.

Though, I guess crocs would first have to make them for them to be considered actual knock-offs, so Hooch gets a pass.

Yes, they have similar designs but the company has yet to release their own version if they’re planning to.

Hooch might be wearing similar footwear but we can’t know which brand.

BarkBrite is the answer.

BarkBrite offers a softer sock-like dog shoe with breathable holes as well.

They offer protection from hot pavement and it fits snuggly because of the Velcro attachment.

Another Velcro option is Wagwellies Wagwear. You can fit it around your dog’s ankle so it wouldn’t slip.

It’s perfect for beach trips where the sand is hot on the feet because even if your dog jumps into the water, the shoes won’t easily slip out.
