Having a sibling whom you can understand and connect with is a special thing. There is someone in the world who can understand you and whom you can depend on. This deep and loving connection is intensified when you have a twin.

Due to their rarity, many people are curious and fascinated by the concept of twins. Scientists extensively study the genome of twins to understand them better. Others rely on different cultural beliefs about twins.

Contrary to popular beliefs, twins are not exact copies of each other. They may or may not look the same, but they don’t share the same DNA sequence as the other. But most people do know that having a twin is basically being assigned a best friend at birth.

They share each moment together and do things together.

When one achieves a challenging feat, the other one is there to hold their hand and cheer them on. That’s the great thing about having a twin. You’ll always have someone you can depend on.

One woman wanted to share her special day with her twin sister.

Morgan Watkins was getting married, but she wanted it to be special too for her twin.

You see, Morgan’s twin sister has special needs and couldn’t walk down the aisle like the other bridesmaids. Morgan didn’t want her sister to miss out on the experience, so she created a plan with her fiance.

On the day of her wedding, guests were surprised and teary-eyed when they saw the scene before them.

Walking down the aisle was Morgan’s fiance carrying her twin sister who was wearing a white dress and veil.

“My twin sister who has special needs came down at my wedding with my fiancé, now who I call my husband.”

“I wanted her to have her special moment as a bride like her twin sister. I will forever cherish this!” Morgan captioned the clip.

Morgan didn’t want her sister to miss out on her special day.

Her fiancé, now husband, was very supportive of her plan. As for her sister, she was smiling at everyone like she was a princess.

The moment also made Morgan love her husband even more.

He showed that he cared about her sister the same way she does. They were twins and marrying her would mean accepting her sister too. They were two different people, but also the same.

Many people applauded Morgan and her husband.

“That is why I did it, she won’t ever get married, she doesn’t have interest in dating or anything but I just want her to have that special moment her sis got. I’ve dreamed of this since ever thinking about getting married!”

It was not only a special day for the bride, but for her sister too who felt accepted and loved.
