There is not a shadow of a doubt that your wedding day should be one of the happiest days in your life, full of heartwarming moments and surrounded by love and laughter. For this couple, their special day became a whole lot more special because they no longer were just a couple, they became a family of three – much to the bride’s surprise!

And no, these newlyweds weren’t expecting a baby, but they were definitely going to add another family member: an adorable four-footed one!

Groom Jeff Althoff knew how much his soon-to-be wife Jenna loved dogs, and he doctored out an entire plan to make their day just a little bit more special.

Of course – Jeff knew he couldn’t do this all on his own, so he decided to entrust his inner circle of groomsmen with his surprise plan.

“She’s not going to know until she sees this video later on. Are you guys ready to know it? Well you can’t yet!” he said excidetedly.

Thanks to one of the couple’s best friends who videotaped Jeff’s surprise, this wedding gift actually became a viral video in a matter of days.

At this point, nobody except for Jim has an idea what the surprise plan is, but it all gets revealed in time!

Everybody kept on guessing and thinking what it would be, but as soon as Jeff grabbed a microphone for his reception dinner speech, things started to get a bit more clear. He told his now-wife that he had a surprise in store after he told her how beautiful she looked, of course.

“No, it’s not hunting or fishing related, it’s everything you want [in a surprise]. Would you agree with me tht the last few hours have been the best few hours as a family of two?”

What better gift to your now-wife than an absolutely adorable puppy?

These two weren’t about to stay a family of two for long! As soon as Jeff finished up his speech, two wedding assistants arrived with an absolutely precious and adorable puppy, bringing the four-footer to the bride.

Seeing the puppy probably was a relief for her as well – imagine that Jeff was talking about an adopted kid!

Jenna’s reaction definitely says more than a thousand words.

Getting a puppy on the same day you’re getting married? If that doesn’t scream “best day of your life”, we don’t know what does. What better way to kick off a beautiful marriage than by taking care of this four-footed furball together?

Of course, this bride and groom still have their honeymoon coming up, and we suppose they’ll have to worry about finding a dog sitter for a little while.

The newlywed wife had such a pure, priceless, and heartwarming reaction, and the surprise reveal was loved by the entire internet.
