Groom gets more than he bargained for with “first look”
âFriendship is the hardest thing in the world to explain. Itâs not something you learn in school. But if you havenât learned the meaning of friendship, you really havenât learned anything.â â Muhammad Ali
Weddings are undeniably one of the best moments of life. May you be the bride, the groom, their families, and friends, everyone’s heart is pounding with so much happiness and excitement.
While preparing for a wedding is another story.
Getting the wedding date, which church, the theme of the wedding, motif, reception venue, creation and distribution of invitations, who’s going to be the maid of honor and best man, and a whole lot more!
See? It’s a sack full of work, right? That’s why weddings are special because it’s a well-planned and prepared celebration. It’s the day that two bodies and souls unite, and live together for the rest of their lives.
Though, of course, wedding preparations and celebrations may vary, depending on the country and religion. But for whichever country or religion may be celebrating a wedding, one thing will surely be common, a photoshoot, wouldn’t you agree?
Photoshoots immortalize that once-in-a-lifetime moment
Men love photoshoots too!
And for the groom, seeing himself in his best is one of the greatest feelings ever. It’s not about “pride” and “masculinity” but the feeling of looking good on his special day is something very important.
After all, he is about to tie the knot with the woman of his dreams.
Just like this groom here for example, doesn’t he look good? He is wearing a nice blue suit with his glasses on, and the perfect background for his pictures.
You can obviously tell he’s feeling it too, just following the photographer’s commands and all. He is definitely having his âJames Bondâ moment.
Now for the âfirst look,â that moment when a bride and groom are allowed to have a moment with each other away from the eyes of family and friends.
The unsuspecting groom just carries on with his photoshoot session and in the back is a person in a lovely wedding dress getting ready to approach him.
Wait, something doesn’t look right.
The bride’s size looks kind of bigger than usual. And oh, is that a beard? You’ve gotta be kidding!
The excited groom removes his sunglasses, he can’t wait to give his soon-to-be wife a glance. He must be thinking about how stunning his future better half is, his heart must be pounding so fast.
They proceed to take more snaps of the groom and – itâs apparent now that the âfirst lookâ is a prank.
It’s none other than the groom’s best friend!
It looks like he wants one last laugh with his best buddy before he sends him off to the altar. He looks… ugh! Nevermind.
âAm I supposed to turn around? Am I supposed to turn around yet?â
The groom asks, the photographer says yes, and so he does. Surprise, honey! Er – I mean, buddy!
And for the remaining 48 seconds, itâs an explosion of laughter from these two men.
These two guys are obviously close to each other, there’s no question about it. They are like brothers from two different mothers. They both burst in laughter and it’s contagious!
Their video now has over 2.7 million views and 23k likes with comments ranging from sweet sentiments to amusement and delight.
âI bet the groom is not over the laughter even at the honeymoon. This must be giving him funny thoughts even at the time of being serious.â
âThey laughed like little boys which show how genuine their friendship isâ
The friendship that they have is something special and lucky are those people who have this kind of bond with someone.
