Almost everyone knows the Whitney Houston song ‘I Will Always Love You’. Ever since she recorded it for the 1992 movie The Bodyguard, it has always been linked to her name. It broke records and stayed at the top spot of most hit charts. It’s so famous that a lot of people know its lyrics by heart.

Apparently, dogs love the song, too!

A video of a German Shepherd singing along to the classic song is making online viewers smiling and chuckling. Even though he can’t really sing the lyrics, his howling was definitely on point.

Max was out with his human on a boat.

They were clearly having an awesome time there. Cruising on a boat with his favorite person in the world, how can Max have not a good time?

His owner knows how much Max adores the song.

He shared:

“I don’t know what it is about this song but Max absolutely loves it. You don’t even have to look at him. Anytime it comes on, he starts howling and singing right off the bat.”

He knew that playing the song would trigger his GSD to sing.

He wanted to test that theory once more. So, he decided to play it on the boat. And the minute the adorable German Shepherd heard it, his eyes lit up. He recognized the song right away.

Naturally, Max had to sing along.

It’s his favorite song. Why wouldn’t he sing to it? He sang with his heart out. And surprisingly, he was able to reach the high notes well. It just proves how well he knows the song. He has probably rehearsed it a couple of times already.

Fortunately, Max’s human decided to record his mini-concert.

If it wasn’t for that, the whole world wouldn’t know how great Max is when it comes to singing. We wouldn’t even know his favorite song!

The video was uploaded on TikTok.

There, it has earned thousands of likes and hundreds of comments. One particular viewer said:

“I find that beautiful, it’s like he’s letting you know he loves you.”

Another one commented:

“DYING! That’s funny. Does he do that if you sing it yourself? He is gorgeous.”

There was also this viewer who suggested a different song. She said:

“Have you done Etta James ‘At Last’? My lab sang that for years. No matter where or what he was doing he came in singing”

These days, the world is experiencing a lot of awful things.

Videos like this just uplift the heart. Even though it’s not a real Whitney Houston concert, who cares? Max is an excellent singer. Even with just one video that last a couple of seconds, he was able to make a lot of people’s day so much better.

His human should work on getting him an album deal with different record companies. He might even give Whitney Houston a run for her money.
