So who is Katelyn Ohashi, the gymnast who can gain more views than The Superbowl?

She has had a long career as a top gymnast.

In fact, she is, “an eight-time All-American and a four time member of USA Gymnastics’ Junior National Team.” She was also the 2011 junior national champion of the 2013 American Cup. And to achieve this, she had to defeat the Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles.

If you’re an older reader who is worrying that someone so young has achieved so much, then here’s something reassuring: she was born in the same millenium as you. Just about.

Ohashi was born in Seattle in 1997.

Also, while she was studying at UCLA, Ohashi became active in helping the homeless. She even managed a fundraiser for a shelter for homeless students. In addition to this, Ohashi also volunteers for Project Heal, a charity that helps people to recover from eating disorders.

She graduated from UCLA in 2019. But surely this is just the beginning of her career!

Clearly, Ohashi is going to both perform amazing gymnastic routines and make the world a better place in the future!
