Just because you get older, doesn’t mean you have to lose your sense of humor. In fact, it’s a time where you should laugh your hardest. After all, you’ve earned it!

Twenty-three women at Milton Lodge residents home had the surprise of their lives when scantly clad butlers came to serve them dinner in Colchester, Essex.

Talk about a party!

89-year-old Joan Corp came up with the fun idea. As a matter of fact, she wished it.

She could never let the thought of a man visiting the home go, so the nurses decided to go ahead and let the women have their fun.

Why not?!

Claire Martin, activities manager at the home said of Joan:

“Whenever you ask Joan what she wants that day she always says ‘a man. So we weren’t surprised when she wanted it to be her wish. We had a chat here and everyone was really keen to support it.”

That’s when Martin and her team went looking online for companies who would be willing to bring in some young men to serve the residents.

They came across a company fittingly named, Hunks in Trunks.

“When they turned up we had to let them know what we wanted them to do. They had a three-course meal with a roast dinner. The ladies’ daughters and granddaughters came. We asked them to do some harmless flirting, it doesn’t matter how old you are, so why not?”

Exactly! You’re never too old to have some fun!

The women even invited their daughters and granddaughters to join in on the action.

The oldest resident, Doll Jenkins, 99, also enjoyed herself. So much so, she requested them back for her birthday next year!

The handsome young men went around and gave every single woman a massage. They flirted and laughed throughout their entire visit.

82-year-old resident, Gladas Smith, said she saw everything up close and personal!

“I had the front seat. It made quite a change and the boys done well. It was a good evening.”

Martin shared that the women came dressed in their finest and were in good spirits long before the men arrived, anticipating their visit.

“The ladies were really excited, they had all been giggling and they dressed up.” She continued, “They didn’t stop laughing the whole night, they absolutely loved it.”

The resident home is part of the Sparkle initiative, where staff raises money to grant the wishes of residents.

This was all just another day for the guys of Hunks in Trunks. The company states that going into places where you might not expect you’d see them, like corporate spaces, is all part of the gig.
