Cats and dogs are two species that are commonly known to hate each other. They simply do not get along that easy and there’s no concrete explanation behind it, aside from the fact that they belong to two different species of family pets.

You may have seen stories of friendship between cats and dogs now and then, and it is always pretty unusual to see, isn’t it?

Cat and dog friendships are truly extraordinary sights to see, and whenever we see one, it’s always sure to make us say ‘awe’.

Usually, though, these friendships are just that- friendships.

That word couldn’t be more of an understatement for this Husky, however.

This isn’t a story about a sweet-yet-simple friendship, mind you, but rather it’s a beautiful story of parental love instead.

This Husky was raised by cats- and now she believes she is one.

A Reddit user named DONG_OF_JUSTICE shared some incredibly cute pictures of his husky named Tally. Since she was raised by some cats, it’s no surprise that she acts like a feline too!

“Our cat dog would piss on our floors if we ever did something wrong as well. She also had a knack for finding the best worst places to do it (i. e. carpets, rugs, etc.). She also sat like a cat, with her arms and legs tucked under herself.”

In his post back in 2014, a clarification was made about Tally.

She’s not a purebred husky- the owner wrote in the post,

“No, she’s not completely husky. She’s husky/malamute/little bit of something else. She actually looks and behaves more like a malamute (which are also a bit cat-like), but most people don’t know what they are so I go with ‘husky’.”

The Reddit user also explained why there were no cat pictures included with the album showing that Tally was ‘actually’ raised by cats.

“There are no cat pictures in this album. Sorry. She was raised with cats by her previous owners, and they only gave me puppy pictures without the cats. I can’t prove she was raised with them or that she truly thinks she’s a cat, so this will just have to be one more cat-less post on /r/aww.”

While there’s no showing that Tally aka Tao Tao (which means mischievous in Chinese) was really raised by cats, we can’t deny the fact that she really acts like one of them.

Tally was safe despite this silly picture.

“A few people have raised concerns about this picture, so I’ll reassure y’all that my dog was completely safe while she lived with us. All our downstairs trashcans were dog-proof, and we never left bags like these lying around. This picture was taken to memorialize a particularly ballsy moment where Tally walked in to finish our chips as we were eating them.”

“Cat fact of the day: You might think that she’d like you to pet her belly. You would be wrong. She’ll stare at you and sigh a lot until you stop.”

“I would get stopped a lot on the streets just to be told how beautiful she was. Usually wouldn’t be able to hear it all before she’d drag me away.”
