We don’t want to be biased but, in our humble opinion, the Husky dog breed is one of the cutest around.

Not only are huskies majestic to look at, but they are also incredibly social, friendly, and loving when they’re brought up the right way.

The adorable thing about Huskies, and dogs in general, is that they’re not afraid to demand attention.

When us humans want a bit of love and appreciation, we might make subtle hints and wind up in a bad mood when those hints don’t get picked up on. When huskies want attention, on the other hand, you always know about it.

Meet Millie – she might be a big girl, but that doesn’t mean she’s not interested in cuddles and affection from her owner.

The channel Poke My Heart gives a description of the video to give us an idea of what’s going on.

“As this guy and his dog, Millie sat together on the couch, Millie tapped him on the shoulder for attention. After some rubs and kisses, he continued to watch the television. Millie then laid her head on his lap and then he cradled Millie like a baby for more love and affection.”

Millie’s dad is just doing his own human thing, watching TV.

If you’ve ever had a pet, you’ll know that they particularly can’t stand technology. There’s nothing that quite diverts a human’s attention away from a pet like a mobile phone, a laptop, or a TV screen.

Luckily for Millie, dad isn’t completely oblivious to her nudges for attention. He gives her a belly rub while she sits beside him, staring lovingly at him, clearly lapping up the attention.

Then dad stops with the attention and turns back to the TV.

This is not what Millie had in mind – and she lets him know, tapping dad with her paw.

Dad, bless him, hastily turns back to his “child” and gives her an apologetic kiss on the snout and another chest rub.

It’s such a cute moment that the woman recording it can’t help but say “Ooh!”

This is all the invitation Millie needs to fully lie across dad’s knee like a big baby.

She’s so calm and peaceful, which isn’t always typical of Huskies.

One person, who clearly has a bit of Husky knowledge, commented under the video:

“This Husky is different from all the others he doesn’t back talk – while this one seems to been loved so much he his calm and affectionate. Obviously, this owner got it down pat! Good Job – dad!”

The commenter has a point. Huskies are generally quite energetic and boisterous, and they have loud voices that they’re not afraid to use.

Millie, in comparison, is very calm and blissed-out.

She’s happy to lie back on dad’s knee and take all the kisses in the world.

Perhaps this is how the pair settle down after a long, busy day, or maybe Millie is just a laid-back gal. Either way, she’s clearly a daddy’s girl, and we’d confidently say she’d do anything to get Dad on her side.

What’s certain is that you’ll fall in love with Huskies just that little bit more after watching this adorable video of Millie and dad having some bonding time.
