Most dogs will eat almost anything you place in front of them. And while there are some exceptions, dogs, in general, are not that picky. As long as it tastes good. This best demonstrated in a video of a golden retriever and his husky friend as they try out some different foods.

Their reactions to the various food presented to them are hilarious video proves that even dogs have their limits when it comes to the food that they eat.

A taste test video

In the video of the taste test, a golden retriever named Tucker, and a husky, named Echo, have sat down at the dinner table to try out something different. The video has gotten over seven million views due in part to the dogs’ reactions, but also to the creative subtitles that their owner has created for the two.

Trying something new

First up is some watermelon. At first, the two friends are unsure what is being presented to them, some watermelon spheres. Echo, who is Tucker’s guest, tries one first. It is a success and Tucker can’t wait to try some himself.

No sooner has it been put on his plate that Tucker gobbles it up. He makes sure to thank his owner for the treat. This great start to the taste test only makes the two eager for what is next.

Eat your veggies

That is until two broccoli florets are produced. Tucker seems to know from the start that this particular item is not especially good. He even tried to warn Echo away from it. Echo seems willing to try it.

But before he can, Tucker swoops in and saves the way. He throws the two pieces of broccoli onto his plate in disgust. Hopefully, the next item of food is much better.

What about some steak?

And of course, it is as two pieces of steak are produced. Tucker seems to lose his mind in excitement while Echo is more nonchalant about it. It seems Echo prefers his meat rawer, while Tucker snaps up his steak right away. This taste test has gone quickly from zero to hero, for Tucker at east.

Now for some desert

Next up are some strawberries. This time it is Echo who is more enthusiastic, while Tucker doesn’t really want to try the new food. In the end, that only means more for Echo as he eagerly gobbles up both pieces of fruit.

A consensus is reached

Finally, some celery is thrown on the two dogs’ plates. It is at this point an agreement is reached as both dogs reject the offering. Tucker even barks for his owner to get the food off his plate.
