Husky helps save kitten and she grows up to become leader of entire pack
Rescuing and fostering kittens is never easy, especially if they are still so young.
The first few days after the kitten is born are crucial days for them to survive.
It’s essential to have the kittens latch on to the bottle and feed from it.
If not, there would be a little-to-no chance they’ll make it.
Rosie was one of the many cats that Thi, Thoa, and Tram rescued.
Like most kittens that were abandoned or abused during their first days, it was important for Rosie to latch from a bottle to feed herself.
However, the sisters noticed she wasn’t drinking the milk they gave her.
She was also lethargic and weak, so they thought she couldn’t make it.
Their last resort was to bring Rosie close to their husky, Lilo.
You might think this was a bad idea, especially since huskies are bigger than kittens just a few days old, but Thi, Thoa, and Tram knew Lilo could take good care of Rosie.
They observed that Lilo was good with taking care of kittens based on their past rescues – like her mother’s instinct kicked. It was worth the try.
And indeed, it was. Rosie’s disposition changed in a snap.
She started to perk up in just a few hours. But the biggest miracle of all was that she began to suckle Lilo, which signaled the sisters that Rosie could drink milk – and she did!
It was like Lilo saved her life in an instant.
Thi, Thoa, and Tram had this rule: they won’t keep their rescued kittens. They broke that with Rosie.
They saw the bond she formed with Lilo, and they didn’t have the heart to break them apart.
They decided to keep Rosie and introduced her to the rest of the pack.
That’s when she met her other husky siblings, Infinity and Miko.
Together, they make a formidable team, thanks to their purr-fect ringleader.
Rosie acts like the pack’s leader, while her husky siblings are like bodyguards that protect her in every situation possible.
From long car rides to their biggest adventures, Rosie knew she had finally found her fur-ever home with the sisters and the Huskies.
Of course, you would expect her to acquire a dog’s behavior.
She’s with three of them, after all, and so she learned to do what her siblings do, like going on hiking adventures, going to the pet store, walking on a leash, hanging out by the car window, and even doing tricks like giving hi-fives.
We can say she grew a lot like her siblings, and that’s just adorable!
Rosie treasured how Lilo saved her life, so she went on and saved others, too.
Now, whenever Thi, Thoa, or Tram rescues a kitten, they allow Rosie to care for it.
The sweet feline takes good care of their fosters, and it was like her “mother mode” was switched on.
I think she’s only showing them love and compassion, as Lilo did to her.
