The COVID-19 pandemic has hit many families hard. We as humans should take this time to unite with each other and come together to fight the virus. To give hope to all of our readers, we want to share twelve different heartwarming stories of inspiration that will brighten spirits and bring a smile to your face.

These people deserve awards and medals, but since we can’t give them those, we want to honor them by recognizing their stories in our post here!

1. A Belgian beacon of hope!

A 90-year-old Belgian woman named Suzanne Hoylaerts passed away from the Coronavirus after refusing to be put on a respirator. She told the doctors to ” Save it for the youngest [who need it most], I’ve already had a beautiful life.” What a hero!

2. Retired doctor returns to the frontlines.

This doctor left retirement to serve people without even flinching. He also helped with one of the first heart transplants in Italy and was regarded as one of the top doctors in the country.

3. Thankful husband with encouraging sign

An elderly gentleman in Morristown, New Jersey was seen outside an emergency room holding this sign. Not able to speak to the nurses and doctors on the inside, the man wanted to communicate his heartfelt thanks without risking contamination from either side.

This is a great reminder for us to thank those on the frontlines of hospitals and doctor’s offices everywhere!

What a gift from the neighbors. We should all come together and figure out what people need in our communities. Helping each other is how we all get through this!

This woman won’t be stopped by anything. When you read about the things that she’s battled, it really isn’t surprising that she beat the coronavirus as well. A pandemic probably didn’t even faze her.

These are all pretty impactful stories, and we hope they’ve given you a little bit of light in a dark world. Humans are beautiful, and one of the best things we can do is look out for our friends and family during this time.
