TikTok is pioneering this space and fulfilling the need to create and recreate viral internet challenges – wins, fails, and everything ridiculous in between. Each day brings something new, and each day countless people rise up to accept the internet’s newest dare.

Enter Jason Derulo.

The beloved pop singer has taken a stand during the quarantine, rising to fame a second time, this time across social media platform TikTok. Recently he’s flooded the internet with a host of viral videos, stunts, pranks, and tours of his crib. Stunningly so, the singer has amassed a base of 21.6 million followers all waiting to see what he’ll do next.

Included in a very entertaining gallery of tricks and treats is an attempt to break the world record for the largest pancake stack.

The pop singer also attempted to create a giant cookie ice cream sandwich.

Recently, Derulo found out about a sensational food hack that involves corn on the cob and a power drill.

Allegedly, you attach the corn cob to the drill, and then the sky is the limit. You can quickly consume the corn in one fell swoop. Hello summer bliss! ….Or not?

Derulo shared his contribution to the life hack challenge recently across the social media platforms TikTok and Instagram. But common sense should tell you this isn’t quite the best idea.

In the video, the drill spins wildly out of control and Derulo lets out a cry only to reveal that his two front teeth are missing from the botched attempt. Since the video’s inception, fans have been musing over whether or not the power drill really took the star’s teeth with it. Without seeing him in person it’s hard to say – although the general speculation is that it’s a clever prank.

In the past, others have dared the power drill corn cob challenge, only to reveal what a bad idea it is. Some have gotten the drill wrapped up in their hair, as well as knocked a few teeth out. Hardly a hack it would seem!

To take it a step further, the pop singer shared a follow-up video showcasing him having a conversation with his newly toothless mouth.

Derulo’s girlfriend, Jena Frumes, plays along effortlessly, acknowledging just how terrifying his new look is.
