Sixteen-year-old Lily Jordan is a huge Jonas Brothers fan who had been looking forward to their concert in Hershey, Pennsylvania back in August. Unfortunately, her chemotherapy treatment got in the way of those plans.

The teen shared a story on Instagram the day before the show, jokingly asking the brothers to stop by her hospital room:

“I was supposed to be at your Hershey concert tomorrow but instead I’m across the street doing chemo. If y’all wanted to pop in I’ll give you my room number.”

Sporting her hospital bracelets and saying she was just across the street from the performance venue, she asked followers to use the hashtag #lilyseesthejonasbrotherschallenge2019 to see if they could get the band’s attention.

The hashtag went viral and even Pennsylvania Representative Scott Perry shared her post, including a pre-chemo photo of the teen.

Perry wrote on Facebook:

“Our good friend Lily is fighting for her life in Hershey tonight and so badly wanted to see the Jonas Brothers tomorrow night at Hersheypark, but can’t because of her urgent treatment. If there is anyway for them to visit her, we are lifting up her hopes and our prayers for help.”

While she never expected it to work, the Jonas Brothers got the message.

Then, Jordan got the surprise of a lifetime when all three of them stopped in to visit her at Penn State Children’s Hospital before their concert.

“We saw your messages, we had to come over,” Joe joked to his brother Jordan. “It went everywhere, my entire feed was filled,” added Kevin.

And don’t worry, there is video evidence of the good deed (which you can find below).

Not only did the brothers sign autographs and take photos with the teen, Nick Jonas’ wife, Priyanka Chopra also hung out for a while. That was one star-studded hospital room!

Before they left, Nick asked Jordan if she had a favorite song they could dedicate to her during their “Happiness Begins” concert later that night and she eventually settled on an older hit, “S.O.S.”

Later that day, the teen thanked everyone who made the hashtag go viral and showed them photos from her surprise visit.

“Wow. The power of social media you guys,” she wrote, “YOU did this. YOU made my crappy chemo session into something incredibly special and unforgettable. Thank you thank you thank you @jonasbrothers for taking time out of your day to come pay me a visit. Literally made my life.”

Jordan is also a fan of Joe Jonas’ wife Sophie Turner and her show Game of Thrones, as evidenced by the House Stark flag hanging proudly behind her bed. She gave him a homemade bracelet to pass along to the woman formerly known as Sansa Stark.

We’d say that Jordan had a pretty epic day, despite the disappointment of not being able to attend the concert with her friends.

And it certainly shows us the power of social media when used for something good.
