Judge Judy, or Judith Susan Sheindlin, is famous for the American court show “Judge Judy”.

She’s been starring in it since 1996.

The former prosecutor and Manhattan family court judge is known for her strong, commanding presence, and for the fact that her word is law in the courtroom.

Normally, she hears both sides and then decides who is right or wrong, but in this story, she needed some extra help from a four-legged witness.

It was definitely the right choice.

Indeed, Judge Judy invited a dog into the courtroom in order to decide on a case.

You see, a man and a woman arrived at the courtroom with the man claiming that the woman had stolen his dog.

The dog’s name is Baby Boy.

On the other hand, the woman denied the charges, insisting that she bought the dog for $50 outside the mall.

In fact, she said she was planning on giving it to her mother.

But the man had photos of the dog, who looked just like the woman’s pup.

He knew it was Baby Boy.

At the same time, the woman had brought in paperwork from the vet, in which the vet said it was a five-year-old mixed breed.

Judge Judy wasn’t buying the paperwork.

She was not interested in the vet’s claims.

After all, a vet can tell if a dog is a puppy or not, but they cannot conclude on what the exact age of the canine is.

So, she decided to let the dog himself decide who his real owner was.

The judge asked the defendant’s friend to bring in the dog in question. Once the woman and the dog were in the courtroom, she asked her to put the dog down.

“Madam, listen to me carefully,” Judge Judy says. “Put the dog down.”

The woman does as per the judge’s order, and someone can be heard in the background saying “don’t, don’t”.

It’s probably the defendant, who hopes the dog won’t rush to the plaintiff.

The dog left no doubt.

Indeed, right when Baby Boy is put on the floor, he runs to his rightful owner, the man who has been claiming it was actually his dog all this time.

The woman raises her hand and manages to utter that “he does this to everybody”, but the judge is not convinced by this claim.

She nods and keeps repeating “it’s his dog”.

Her facial expressions reveal that she’s 100% sure that this dog belongs to the man.

Baby Boy keeps wagging his tail like crazy, and, once the man is allowed to pick him up, he can’t stop giving daddy kisses.

Baby Boy was finally home.

The man would have broken into tears if he hadn’t been on the show with so many people around him.

What a beautiful and emotional reunion and what a smart move on the part of the experienced judge.

We are absolutely loving it.
