K-9 wearing full uniform for ID photo shoot is the handsomest boy
Before the end of 2020, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office that is located in Florida held its annual photo shoot.
Everyone looked their best in their police uniform, but there was one who stood among the rest.
It was their K-9 officer whose photo was taken, complete with his uniform.
Meet K-9 officer Chico, a handsome and intelligent German shepherd.
He’s known for his exceptional work as a patrol dog and as an assistant whenever there’s drug detection needed.
Who would have thought that Chico also takes his photos very seriously?
The German shepherd dog is one of the most popular dogs here in the U.S.
They are known for their quick thinking, intelligence, and their dedication.
German shepherds are also known for their courage and devotion.
This dog breed is known to be great at their jobs, such as being therapy dogs, K-9, sniffing and tracing illegal substances, and even herding stock.
No wonder they are so in demand.
“K-9 Chico posed for his new ID badge today. He even wore a tie for the photo,” they wrote in the Facebook post caption.
The very handsome pup in uniform gained 7.1K likes and 11K shares!
Chico, the K-9 officer, has charmed his way into the people’s hearts.
Like his comrades, Chico wore his uniform and looked into the camera.
He looked handsome, and if you look closer, you will notice that tiny tongue sticking out.
The County Sherrif’s office staff felt really proud and happy that Chico went viral. They even read all the heartwarming comments of the now-viral photo.
“I think I am in love. I can’t resist a dog in uniform,” said one comment.
“With the exception of my own son, he’s the handsomest police officer I’ve seen. Well done Corporal Chico!” said another.
“Chico is a professional, certified Police Officer. He is dressed in his best formal uniform. Good picture,” another person said.
Not just that. Every Christmas, Chico also wears something fit for the occasion. We can see him wearing a Santa hat, posing next to the Christmas tree.
Of course, Chico is still as handsome as before.
“This special Santa couldn’t let the season go by without wishing everyone a very “Pawsome” Holiday!” the caption read in Chico’s latest photo last Christmas.
If there’s one person who’s really proud of Chico, it would be his handler, Corporal Robert Lees.

Lees and Chico have been together for five and a half years now.
“K-9 Chico is a valued member of our team and we were thrilled to see his picture bring smiles to so many faces. He has been a member of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office for four and a half years but in dog years this photo celebrates 35 years of dedicated service,” Bailey Myers, the spokesperson for the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, said in his interview.
Chico is also a regular model for the County’s posters and social media posts.
