You may have thought that your child’s Christmas show was impressive. Well, this performance is something else.

There’s nothing quite like seeing kids enjoy the Christmas period. They really make it the best time of the year. And the kids in this video might just be the cutest in the world.

The preschoolers in the video all attend St. Elizabeth Child Care in Jersey City, New Jersey. And for the Christmas season, their teachers decided to make them put on a special show for everyone.

They really wowed anyone who saw their performance!

The video began with the kids walking slowly onto the stage. They all looked like little elves, dressed in green. But instead of making toys, they were going to make everyone smile with their performance.

The kids all took their place on the stage, and the curtains drew back.

The families of the kids gave an encouraging introductory clap.

The kids had their hands on their hips. This was the opening position of their dance routine.

Then Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree by Brenda Lee started playing.

The kids all started rocking their hips back and forth. Then some of the kids all started singing to the lyrics of the song.

After the first verse was over, the kids all pointed out to the crowd with the line “You will have a sentimental feeling.” Then they rolled their hips all around.

For the line “when you hear,” the kids all put their hands to their ears.

For the instrumental part of the song, the kids all joined hands and rocked back and forth with one another. Some of the kids were more enthusiastic than others, but all of them were giving the performance a go!

When the song ended, the kids all raised their hands and waved to the crowd. The people in the audience waved back and clapped enthusiastically. Clearly, they hadn’t expected their kids to perform to the song so well.

Then the video showed the kids walking down the aisle, with the parents still proudly clapping them on.

Shortly after this performance, the person recording uploaded the video onto YouTube. The kids were so cute that the video soon went viral.

To date, it has managed to gain over 800,000 views and 1,700 likes. It also has dozens of comments. People have been saying things like this:

Some people might whine and say that the kids were out of sync. But just remember that the children are preschoolers. For a group of four-year-olds, they are doing a darn good job!

Some of the kids may grow up and look at this video with embarrassment, but they should also remember that very few people have been able to gain one million views before they entered kindergarten. That really is something to be proud of!

Hopefully, the kids will continue to have the same level of enthusiasm and energy as they make their ways through school and into the adult world.

Life has a habit of making people more groggy with each successive year. But the kids will always be able to look back on this footage and remember what it was like to just have lots of fun!
