There’s nothing cuter than cats, but two brother kittens that refuse to stop hugging takes the cake. The inseparable little guys had an obvious, and adorable bond when this couple encountered them at the animal shelter. Originally they were looking for one kitten until they met these kitty siblings that were attached at the hip.

These kittens are so precious, they hold onto each other no matter what!

Grace and her partner Jake had no idea two kitten siblings would steal their hearts at the RSPCA shelter

The search for a kitten started when Jake was going through some tough times. Grace’s intuition told her that a cat could really help, that’s when they went on the RSPCA website and saw a beautiful kitty named Marlow up for adoption.

Off they went to go meet the tiny cat, knowing he could potentially be the newest member of the family. Little did they know, Marlow had a brother named Mittens, and he wasn’t leaving his side.

Initially, the RSCPA put Marlow and Mittens up for separate adoption. That was the best way to ensure they both found a home

When the animal shelter found the brothers on the street, the staff had never seen a stronger bond between kitten siblings. All they had were each other, so it’s understandable why the scared kittens wouldn’t stop hugging. Lucky for them, the loving gesture deeply touched Grace and Jake.

The couple decided then and there, it was either both kittens, or it was no kittens.

Seeing Marlow and Mittens love for each other made it an easy choice for the young couple

It was official, the brothers weren’t going to be separated! Their cuteness proved to be irresistible for Grace and Jake, but it was well worth it.

“We almost forgot entirely about our initial reason for getting a new pet, and adopted them out of pure love and utter cuteness.” Said Grace.

Attached since birth, the two kittens were beyond happy to be staying together

With the daunting fear of being separated looming on the horizon, Grace and Jake swooped in to save the day for the brother kittens. When Marlow and Mittens got to their new home, the gratitude they had for the couple was apparent. The siblings immediately settled into their new safe forever-home. Of course, the cuddling continued at home!

“After getting them home, I was expecting them to both be quite anxious about their change of environment. I have adopted pets before and usually the first 24 hours you find that your new pet is hiding somewhere they ‘feel safe’ and they won’t come out until they have absorbed the new scents and surroundings. These two were the polar opposite. They were initially inquisitive and then immediately made themselves right at home on our bed. They immediately claimed the place as their own and seemed extremely comfortable in their new home.” Grace explained.

With the number of pets that never make it out of the shelter, these kitten brothers being adopted together is a miracle! What an amazing pair of people to step up to the plate, they definitely deserve happiness with Marlow and Mittens!
