Tiny kitten is saved by a Husky – and now she’s convinced she’s one of the pack
Three sisters that run a pet rescue in California are making waves with the story of a tiny kitten they helped save a few years ago. Her name is Rosie.
Rosie was found on the streets of San Jose at just two weeks old – far too young to be away from her mother.
And while the women brought her into their home to nurse her back to health, it appeared she wasn’t going to make it. She was just too small and malnourished.
That is until she met Lilo.

Lilo is one of the home’s resident Huskies – and she took a motherly interest in the tiny kitten.
Once the two began bonding, Rosie learned to suckle on Lilo and the sisters were able to begin feeding her. After that, she was on the mend and on her way to becoming an official household Husky!

According to the furry family’s official website:
“By some miracle, Rosie started trying to suckle on Lilo and cried out for food! We were stunned by the effect Lilo had on Rosie and immediately gave Rosie a bottle. She drank every drop and nestled into Lilo’s fur to sleep. When she awoke again, it was as if new life was breathed into this little kitten. We suspect it was the heart and soul of a husky!”
That was four years ago.
Once she was ready for adventure, the kitten got her own harness and joined in on the family adventures with her 3 Husky roommates (though only 2 remain until this day).

Since the sisters foster many animals, they have a rule about kittens – no keeping them.
But they simply couldn’t bear the thought of breaking up Rosie and Lilo.
And we’re so glad they came to that conclusion because we can’t stop scrolling through their amazing Instagram photos!

Little Rosie (who is now 4) doesn’t seem to realize she’s any different from Lilo or Infinity, the other household Husky.
They do all the same stuff – including hiking and swimming.

She sure has come a long way from that tiny kitten that barely survived all those years ago.
It just goes to show what a little love will do.
