If you go according to stereotypes, cats and dogs do not like each other. Most often this is not the case as there are plenty of examples out there of cats and dogs becoming best friends. In the case of Beck and Blue, the process took some time, but eventually, Beck could not resist Blue’s charm.

Beck doesn’t quite know how to react to Bleu

At first, Beck the German shepherd was at a loss on how to react when his parents first brought Bleu the kitten into the home. He wasn’t exactly against the small bundle of fur, but he honestly had no idea how he was supposed to react. Keeping his distance, he watched as the tiny kitten played. And when Bleu slept in his carrier, Beck would sit quietly by his parent’s side.

Beck slowly warmed up to Bleu

What Beck’s parents didn’t realize was that he was just getting to know Bleu a little better before he showed his true feelings toward the kitten. He had a change of heart when he realized that Bleu was just a really playful kitten. Eventually, Beck started to warm up to Bleu.

Eventually, Beck allowed Bleu to have his fun

At first, Beck simply watched as the Bleu played. Soon, though, Bleu was pouncing all over him and even playing with his ears. Instead of getting angry with the small kitten, Beck would let Bleu play as much as he wanted. As Bleu jumped near him, Beck would barely flinch, even when the kitten would play with his ears.

Soon, the two were playing together

Beck showed his true feelings for Bleu when he started playing in the grass with him. They started exploring the yard together and would chase each other. Even indoors the pair still found ways to play together. As Bleu batted at his face, Beck would nudge the kitten’s paws with his nose.

Beck and Bleu become the best of friends

At the end of the day, Beck liked Bleu so much that he let him play anywhere he wanted. Beck and Bleu spent their time cuddling and snuggling. Beck would even allow the German shepherd to play with his legs like toys. As the kitten got older, their bond only grew stronger.

Developing a perfect bond

Throughout it all, Beck was always gentle with Bleu, letting him horse around or bug him. Beck would simply play along, staying still as the cat had his fun. Their bond is a perfect example of the bond that can develop between such diverse friends, even a cat and dog. Now inseparable, the two have become the best of friends.
