Lady brings 18 dogs with disabilities to the beach for their first time
Dogs are always so cute, and we tend to think of dogs with a set of traits. Most people imagine dogs as cuddly, energetic, and always running around and playing.
What we don’t always think about is that dogs don’t have a monolithic experience, and some dogs have a harder time running and playing than others.
Some dogs are disabled, which makes it harder for them to do typical doggy things.

Although most dogs love to explore nature, this is harder or impossible for dogs that are in wheelchairs. But that doesn’t mean that these dog don’t love nature or playing just as much as any other dog.
In fact, despite their differing abilities, dogs in wheelchairs should be given the chance to go to the beach just like any other dog.

Fortunately SFT Animal Sanctuary in Morocco agrees that all animals should have the chance to have fun and run free.

Founded by Salima Kadaoui in Tangier, this animal sanctuary wants to serve as a safe space for animals. There, they have the love and attention that they would not have otherwise.

Many of the dogs she takes in are disabled. They often have sustained injuries through car crashes or other incidents while being a stray.
But fortunately, Salima is dedicated to helping these pups live long and healthy lives.
Part of Salima helping these pooches live their best life involves taking them to the beach.
Tangier is known for its beautiful beaches. Even the dogs who live there should be able to experience that!
Salima made sure of it one day. Posting a video, she showed how she took 18 of the dogs she cares for — all disabled and in wheelchairs — to the beach. As it turns out, the dogs had the best time!
You won’t believe how fast these dogs can run.
All 18 of these adorable doggos were running all over the beach in their excitement. As you can see, there were so many varieties of dogs on the beach that day, and they were all having the greatest experience.

These dogs even had the chance to get into classic doggy trouble.
One of the corgis that Salima brought to the beach took advantage of her human letting her guard down. When Salima drops her shoe, this dog quickly picks it up in her mouth and tries to play with it a bit roughly, before giving back to Salima.
Watching this adorable group will put a smile on your face. It will also remind you that difficulties are in the eye of the beholder.

These dogs aren’t letting themselves be stopped by anything.
As you watch the video and smile at their adorable fun, it’s obvious that they don’t feel held back by their wheelchairs. It’s enough for them that they are having fun with their friends.
Salima is awesome for giving these dogs a chance to have better lives, and these dogs are inspiring for how they manage to keep a positive attitude despite their challenges.
