No matter who you are or what you are doing, you always have to clean up your mess.

It’s one of the most basic rules of being a human. That’s why they teach us it at such a young age.

Despite this, some people just never learn. These people end up becoming horrible roommates and tenants.

However, this story is about a landlord in France who simply wasn’t going to let unruly tenants get away with not cleaning up their mess after they moved out.

Tenants renting from Thomas Ravaux did not clean up their mess

Thomas had experienced bad tenants before but nothing like this.

Not only did they have a problem paying their rent, but they also left a huge mess after moving out.

Thomas rented them a nice clean house

When Thomas rented these tenants the house, it was in excellent condition. It was a clean and comfortable home.

At first, everything seemed fine but then his tenants failed to do the most important part required of someone renting a place.

Tenants didn’t pay rent for 14 months

One year and two months passed without the tenants paying rent.

The Earth literally went entirely around the Sun and then some without these tenants having even paid for one month’s stay in their home.

Their dedication to just not doing something so necessary to do is almost impressive if it wasn’t so unfair to their landlord.

Thomas decided to pay the renters a visit

Naturally, Thomas decided it was time to pay the renters a visit.

When he got to the home, he found it to be in a less-than-ideal condition.

There was so much trash in the home that Thomas even had trouble opening the door.

In addition to trash, there was old furniture, leftover food, and animal droppings.

No respect for the home or neighborhood

Not only was the inside of the home a mess, so was the outside.

Trash and debris littered the exterior of the house.

Time to teach the renters a lesson

Thomas could have just taken the hit, accepted his losses, paid to have the home cleaned up, and tried to move on.

On the other hand, if he didn’t try and teach these people a lesson then they would just do the same thing to their next landlord.

Thomas plotted a little revenge.

He then went to an attorney to make sure his plan was legal. Once he got the go-ahead it was okay, Thomas put his plan into motion.

Time to call a dump truck

After speaking with his attorney, Thomas made a reservation with a dump truck company.

He started to get cold feet, however, and phoned the police just to make doubly sure nothing he was about to do was illegal.

The police told him that he would not be breaking the law and Thomas was ready to get his revenge.

Thomas returns to the renters property

Thomas had the entire mess, debris, garbage, leftover food, and everything loaded up in a dump truck. He found the address for where his tenants were now living and drove there.

Returning their belongings

Thomas had the truck dump everything that had been left in the house onto the driveway of the tenants’ new home.

It’s their mess and now they have to clean it up. You always have to clean up your mess!

Thomas posts a video of his sweet revenge

Thomas posted footage of his dump truck revenge to Facebook.

It soon went viral as people all over the world enjoyed watching Thomas get even.
