When renting out your property there are a lot of things to take into consideration. You will be expecting these new renters to pay rent and take care of the place or at least keep it the way you rented it out to them. That’s why it’s a smart idea to thoroughly interview and background check the eligible tenants.

As a landlord, you’ll want to see what their past rental history is like and make sure the renters can put down a deposit for the home.

We’ve all heard the horrifying stories about tenants not paying rent for months or even leaving loads of trash after they left. As for this French landlord Thomas Rayaux, he has had his fair share of awful tenants. So when he was ready to rent out the place he wanted to make sure the next renters were a perfect fit. Reyaux’s new tenants seemed to be just that… so he thought.

Trust is crucial with a landlord and tenant and it didn’t take very long for Reyaux’s new tenants to throw that trust out the window.

The new tenants hadn’t paid rent for 14 months…

Of course, they made up every excuse in the book as to why they could not pay rent. Month after month went by when Reyaux knew it was time to pay a visit to his tenants. Reyaux knocked on the door with no answer to follow so he budged open the door to discover absolute filth. The tenants had left a year prior and never notified him.

But the worst part is how these reckless people left Reyaux home…

With no floor in-sight, every room was piled with trash, with holes punched into the walls and plenty of dog poo. They left loads of their kid’s toys and magazines that seemed like something they’d miss.

The photos are sure to leave you in shock.

We can’t imagine the utter disbelief Reyaux was in once he saw the disgusting remnants of what was once his beautiful French home.

That’s when Reyaux brewed up a plan and knew he had to get some legal help on what to do next.

So he called his attorney to make sure his next move wouldn’t break any laws. Which they assured him he was in the clear. The mess this family left wasn’t going to be Reyaux’s problem and these awful tenants needed a good lesson to learn from.

But before Reyaux went through with his “little” lesson he called local police authorities to triple check he wouldn’t be breaking any laws.

Which they assured him he wasn’t and it wasn’t his trash to deal with in the first place. So the sweet revenge began he called a dump truck company to collect everything these horrible tenants had left.

Reyaux found out where the tenants lived now and had a wonderful gift left in their driveway… A pile of all of their trash!

Reyaux’s revenge had most everyone on his side supporting him. There’s no reason people should leave such a disaster in someone else’s home. This savage revenge is a perfect little lesson for these people so they never do something like that again.
