Little girl gives big performance, singing spectacular cover of Queen superhit
It is never easy to take center stage in front of a large crowd, let alone one made up of thousands of people in a stadium. This young Bulgarian girl named Polly Ivanoa shows up to perform “We Will Rock You” for sports fans at an all-star football match awhile back.
Let’s just say she completely brings the house down.
The stadium was filled with people ready to cheer on their favorite teams. What they did not expect was to witness a spectacular musical performance. Since it’s posting on YouTube, it has gathered millions of views.
The drummers start beating their drums to the unmistakable rhythm of Queen’s “We Will Rock You”. Fans immediately recognize the beat and clap along while on their seats. The excitement begins to fill the stadium.

Some individuals are just made for the spotlight. This little girl Polly is undoubtedly one of them.
She confidently takes her place in the middle of the field as she belts out the lyrics to the song. Even at her very young age, she walks out to face the crowd looking like a superstar.
The drumming troupe was Polly’s “band.”
While performing the song, she engages the sports fans by screaming out and waving her hands. Incredibly, she is successful in igniting the crowd. It’s as if she is in control of the whole stadium.
People have been impressed by her fearlessness and showmanship, aside from her ability to sing of course. A viewer wrote:

Polly has her own YouTube channel where she shares her beautiful voice with others. It already has over 99K subscribers.
She’s got several videos covering different songs from popular artists like Ed Sheeran, John Legend, and Alicia Keys. She also has a video of when she auditioned on Bulgaria’s Got Talent at just eight-years-old!
Queen fan or not, Polly is sure to give you the chills as she brings the house down.
Notice the other performers are having a great time. They seem really impressed by the youngster. If the legendary Freddie Mercury were around to see this performance, he would probably be impressed too.
It is common to have the song “We Will Rock You” played at American sporting events. It has the ability to rev up the fans. The British rock band never really intended the song for these types of events. The song was created with the vision that people could join in during their musical performances – chanting, stomping, and clapping along.
Drummer Roger Taylor explained in an interview with Billboard:
“It only has one instrument apart from the voice: There’s no bass, no real drums — just feet and handclaps and only that guitar at the very end. It’s quite an odd song. It was designed as a sort of song for the audience, a joining-in song. But we never really envisioned that it would be taken up by sports.”
Would it work without the guitar solo?
Of course, an electric guitarist jumps into the middle of the drum circle. He and joins Polly and it makes the stadium rock harder than it already was. An exciting ending to an electrifying performance at the all-star football match.
