Performance Anxiety or “stage fright” is very common among young children, and it usually appears when the children have to perform before an audience- say during a school event.

This kind of anxiety can show itself in the form of tantrums, stomach aches, and often tears, all magically going away once the child is reassured they won’t have to participate in the performance.

But, according to experts, avoiding “the stage” won’t make it any easier for the child to overcome their fear of exposure in the future. That’s why words of encouragement, for example, seem to work better instead.

But, unlike many children who do in fact get performance anxiety, there are others who are born performers!

Not only do they not fear the stage, but they are absolute stars on it and steal the show once they start doing their thing.

The preschooler attended the graduation ceremony with her school friends, and she was so ready for it.

While all the children at first sang a song together and did the little choreography they had learned, it is soon obvious that the girl in the blue floral dress is feeling it a little more than the average preschooler.

And, when the favorite kids’ song “Tooty Ta” starts playing, the girl can’t contain herself and starts dancing to the song, while one of her classmates is having a nervous breakdown right next to her throughout the performance.

The five-year-old (at the time) was accompanied to her graduation by her grandma, Martina Blair, who recorded the whole thing while she tried to fight off a fit of laughter (it didn’t work).

Lily, the little girl, danced throughout the song and the impressive thing is, while everyone in the audience was laughing at her moves and facial expressions, she did exactly what the song said.

Her performance was actually brilliant!

While her whole class for the most part just stands still, Lily does her best to entertain her audience and we are sure she enjoys being the star of the day, having all eyes on her, and being the center of attention.

Along with the dance moves, her personality also shows and it is obvious that she is a talented little girl who loves making other people happy. She is probably an extrovert and her parents and teachers have done a great job building her self-confidence.

Throughout the song, she never misses a move and she doesn’t look tired at all.

She gives all her energy to entertain her fans.

According to her grandma, Lily is quite artsy since she loves singing, dancing, and crafts, too. We never doubted it to be honest.

The video of Lily’s dance has gone viral since last year when it was uploaded on YouTube. More than 2 million people have watched it, while thousands have liked it and commented.

“I actually love that kind of behaviour. You don’t need to care about anyone just do what makes you feel good,” someone wrote.

Indeed, this little girl’s attitude highlights the need to just be confident enough to not care about what others think or say, as long as you are doing what you love.
