Soon, a huge crowd surrounded her, and some even joined in!

The video showing a full-blown street party and O’Sullivan getting an unexpected dance partner has been viewed more than 2 million times. Let’s take a look and see the adorable little one who joined Emma on her improvised dance floor. You’ll enjoy her moves, we’re sure.

Irish Stepdance is the most popular form of Irish dance, popularized in the 1990s, by dance shows like Riverdance

Solo Irish dance is known to be very eye-catching and amusing. Interestingly, Irish Stepdance is not only practiced across Ireland but in numerous other countries with different cultural backgrounds as well.

Its intricate footwork is very interesting, and performers usually end up improvising a lot.

In an interview with Celtic Life International, Emma explained that her love of dancing started in early childhood

“My family would play jigs and reels for us in my Grandmother’s chicken,” reminisced Emma, adding that her cousins and she would dance simple steps across the floor. Her family also has a beautiful tradition of getting together with their neighbors to sing, dance, play music, and tell old stories.

That’s how O’Sullivan got in touch with her roots and fell in love with the Irish culture even more. At the age of 24, she won the All-Ireland Sean-Nós Dancing title at Oireachtas na Samhna in Letterkenny. In 2015, O’Sullivan decided to bring the “old way” back to life by giving dance lessons. She even released a dance tutorial DVD for beginners titled Step by Step.

Galway is one of the European capitals of culture

Connemara in the County Galway, where Emma grew up, is a beautiful, and somewhat mythical part of the Emerald Isle.

In 2020, when the covid pandemic stopped everyone from performing in public, Emma decided to organize online dance classes and to upload more YouTube tutorials.

Now, back to the video. O’Sullivan is at her usual spot and her dancing has just begun.

She immediately notices a little girl trying to copy her moves.

She approaches the cameraman and tells him to film the baby girl – and that’s how the kiddo pretty much became an overnight sensation. Dressed in a purple sweater and distinguishable red pants, it’s almost like she was dressed to impress.

The way the girl imitates Emma’s dance moves is simply hilarious

Baby girl does it with so much passion. Stepdance is known for some distinctive leg movements, and just look at what this tiny lady is doing with her legs.

Well, if this isn’t the best baby Stepdance performance ever, we don’t know what is.

Emma laughs the whole time, and the whole crowd is just beaming.

Little girl’s enthusiasm is unmatched
