Dogs are smart creatures.

Not only they can do awesome stunts and tricks but they can also magically sense people’s emotions.

Apart from that, they are also used as an additional force in the military because of their impeccable sense of smell which is very helpful in tracking enemies and explosive devices.

Despite their stronger senses compared to humans and other creatures, a dog losing its way home is still possible.

That’s just what happened to this then-5-month-old pup who lost her way home in Thailand.

Finding her way home.

One day at a local vet clinic in Thailand, the establishment’s security camera captured a furry guest waiting outside.

Although the dog was wagging its tail, it was pretty obvious the pooch was uneasy because it was walking back and forth like she needed something.

She did need something- their attention.

The pup then decided to peek inside the clinic and even barked at the workers inside to get their attention.

Eventually, the clinic’s staff noticed the dog outside, but they decided to watch her first to figure out what was really the pooch’s deal.

Wrapped around the pup’s neck was a collar, which meant someone rightfully owns the dog.

Despite having a collar, the clinic’s workers weren’t sure if the dog was either lost, abandoned, or just wandering around the neighborhood.

There was only one thing to do.

By the looks of it, their guess was that the log was perhaps lost.

Soon, the kind staff of Putahracsa Veterinary Clinic let the dog in.

Instead of feeling anxious, the lost dog instantly looked like it found comfort and safety inside the clinic.

In fact, she looked right at home.

It was then that they figured out an important detail.

The dog had been there before.

In a Facebook post, it was later on revealed that the dog, Nong Ma, a 5-month-old Thai ridgeback, was vaccinated at that clinic when it was a month old.

They explained that the dog couldn’t remember her way home, so she went where she thought the safest place to be was – the vet clinic.

What a clever little girl.

It was indeed a smart move.

They then started looking up the dog’s records and soon, they were able to retrieve her information including her owner.

They wasted no minute and immediately reached out to the dog’s owners.

Nong Ma’s owner picked her up and the two were happy to see each other again, particularly the owner who was worried sick looking for her.

As it turns out, the owner was at work when the dog started to wander around the neighborhood.

She was lost for about 6 hours, thankfully, she found a way to be reunited with her owner later that same day.

Nong Ma’s clever way of finding a way back home gained a lot of attention.

As of this writing, the video has already amassed 1.2 million views with 16,000 “hearts” and “likes”.

Most people who saw the video also commended the dog’s intelligence and the clinic’s staff for helping the dog be reunited with its owner.
