A lot of people won’t know the name Christopher Hopkins, but the man is much more known as his alias ‘The Makeover Guy’. Self-confidence is absolutely important and it’s incredible just how much of an affect a physical makeover can have on someone’s self-confidence and self-worth, something that Christopher knows too.

The man has been working in the beauty industry for decades, although he does like to keep busy with music and writing as well.

Regularly, Christopher decides to give people who are a bit down about their looks, a complete makeover that often leaves them speechless.

He built a brand around his persona – The Makeover Guy – and also runs a popular YouTube channel where he showcases all of the transformations with the rest of the world. Recently, the 68-year-old Brenda has received such a makeover, and you would barely recognize her after the transformation. Everyone who’s ever received a makeover agrees: this man knows what he’s doing and can truly bring back the shine and confidence in anyone.

“We put ourselves last on the list…decided I could bump myself up!” Brenda said.

Even though Christopher definitely won’t turn down any client, he specializes in taking care of “older” people, who are often unsatisfied about their current appearance and want to look younger.

He’s even written an extensive book about it, titled Staging Your Comeback: A Complete Beauty Revival for Women Over 45. The talented stylist even made two tv appearances on Oprah!

The grandmother has always put her family ahead of her and worked a stay-at-home caregiver for pretty much her entire life. This time around, however, she thought that she could focus a bit on herself too. What better way to do so, than with an amazing makeover?

Brenda walked into the salon with greying hair which she completely disliked.

Granted, her locks were pretty long, but Brenda wanted a new look since she’s had this hairstyle ever since she graduated almost half a century ago. She even called the locks her “security blanket”, and now was the time to finally get rid of them.

Christopher has two types of clients: those who are a bit wary and don’t want too many changes, and people like Brenda who are completely all in and open to suggestions. For her, the more dramatic changes the better!

Brenda spent one day at The Makeover Guy’s salon, and the difference is absolutely stunning!

Gone are her long and graying longs, as she says hello to her new, blonde hair color which absolutely shines. Her hair is also a bit wavy, and it makes her completely different and younger. The most important change? You can see Brenda’s newfound confidence in her big smile.

Not only Brenda was blown away by the transformation, viewers thought it was stunning too.

“Oh my gosh! She looks like her daughter! What a hidden gem she was! Gorgeous make-over!” someone commented.

“Wow you dialed the clock back!! You and your team do a fantastic job,” another added.
