Having a child is one of the most memorable moments in a parent’s life. It’s a magical experience that no one can compare to.

That’s why many parents celebrate the announcement and birth of their child.

Sadly, there are some parents who are not as lucky as other parents. There are a lot of parents who also want to conceive a child but are unable to. Others lose their child before welcoming them into the world.

These moments are very difficult for parents. The pain and sadness are incomparable.

Many parents yearn to hold their children in their arms. They dream of teaching their kids their favorite instrument, book, or values.

Some even dream of their kids growing up to become just like them.

Parents have a lot of wishes for their kids. There is a different kind of joy when you hold your child and promise to protect them. Tragically, not all people get to have this experience.

It’s the same way for animals. There are instances when our pets give birth, but are unable to hug and cuddle their children.

One mama corgi almost had 7 puppies.

Irma was a beautiful and loving Mama Corgi who was expecting seven puppies. She and her owner Johanna were excited about the new additions to the family.

So, on the day of Irma’s labor, Johanna made sure that Irma was comfortable and everything was okay.

However, something was amiss.

They were excited that Irma would soon welcome her babies, but they couldn’t shake off the feeling that something was wrong.

Scared by the situation, Johanna took Irma to the vet. She wouldn’t let her Corgi and its puppies be at risk.

When they arrived at the vet, they found out that Irma needed an emergency cesarean section. Irma immediately underwent the procedure.

Sadly, none of them made it.

Irma was devastated.

She couldn’t believe that her puppies were dead. Even Johanna felt really bad for Irma. They went home with a heavy heart.

Johanna could see Irma’s sadness, so she thought of a way to brighten her dog’s life and the answer was surrogacy.

Johanna brought home a 2-week-old kitten.

The best part about this kitten is its color is the same as Irma’s fur. Can you talk about coincidence?

At first, Irma was reluctant at the kitten’s sassy and rambunctious nature. The kitten kept on getting her attention and she was a bit shy to interact with her.

Eventually, Irma started warming up with the kitten.

Today, they are almost inseparable!

It showed us that love doesn’t have to be limited to the family because anyone can be your family.

You don’t have to consider a person your mom just because she is your birth mom. It can extend to anyone who shows you motherly love.
