Imagine a beautiful three-story, pirate-themed playhouse complete with accessories and a swimming pool. Sounds like something out of a theme park, right?

Well, in Aaron Franks’s backyard in Pennsylvania you can find this amazing playhouse, and he did it all by himself.

What’s amazing is that he completed this incredible project for his 4 beautiful dogs to enjoy.

That’s right, the triple-decker pirate-themed playhouse was made for Aaron’s dogs; Tessa, Mia, Bruno, and Cooper!

Man, are these dogs lucky!

Aaron didn’t have any real experience when it comes to building projects, but he was able to complete this remarkable playhouse for his furbabies!

Apparently, that’s all the motivation this dog-dad needs.

Aaron sure knows how to spoil his pets!

He started in 2015 when he began converting his own backyard into an enormous playhouse for his dogs.

It wasn’t just any simple playhouse; it was for his dogs, so he had to make it special!

He chose to do a pirate-themed playhouse complete with lights, ropes, toys, running water, and of course, plenty of space for them to relax, play, and just enjoy!

“It just came together as I went along. I just went for it,” Franks recalled in his interview with The Dodo. “I worked on it a little bit at a time, sometimes just a few boards a month. Every time I got a couple of extra bucks, I’d go out there and add to it.”

Indeed, it was a labor of pure love for his pets.

The playhouse is so beautiful and enchanting! In fact, his work went viral and many people have praised his natural talent in design, building, and of course, his love for his pets.

“There are three levels,” Aaron added. “The top level is my deck. When they go down the ramp, there’s a second level on the inside of the house where they can lay down and look out the windows. On the inside, there’s a staircase that leads down to the bottom floor. That’s where they can come out by the pool. There’s a separate room there also.”

“They love it,” Franks said to The Dodo. “My two older dogs lay around and hang out. They’ve got some new views now where they can see over the fence. For the two youngest, it’s like a romp room. They go down there jumping and playing around, swinging on the swings. It’s pretty cool.”

We’re so happy that his four dogs loved his project; in fact, they spend most of their time enjoying the beautiful playhouse their dad created for them.

“I feed them, I water them and walk them every day. They get their exercise and stuff, but I guess at the end of the day I just felt like it wasn’t enough,” Aaron said. “I felt like this would be a good way to show my love for them. It makes me feel good that I could do that for them.”

Aaron didn’t fail. These lucky dogs know that they are loved.
