Many dog owners love their dogs and want what is best for them. So, when their pets end up missing it can worry an owner tremendously. Fortunately, dog owner Sandy Hernandez was able to find his dogs when they came up missing. In a video, he can be seen breaking down in tears when he is finally reunited with them.
Ragnar and Kloud escape their yard and become lost
Sandy Hernandez loves his two dogs, Ragnar and Kloud. So, when they went missing, he was heartbroken. The two Siberian huskies had jumped over the fence in the yard and had been missing for days. Hernandez searched the area but unfortunately was unable to find them. He almost gave up hope of ever seeing them again.
The dogs were taken to Miami Dade Animal Services
Unknown to Hernandez, his dogs had been found and were safe. Ragnar and Kloud had been found and taken to Miami Dade Animal Services by a passerby on the street. The person who found them and took them to the shelter did not mean any harm. He had assumed that they were strays. The fact that they were not chipped made it that much harder for the shelter to find their owner.
Animal Services decide to use Ragnar and Kloud in a photoshoot
The shelter thought they would make the perfect spokes pets and so used them as models in a pet adoption campaign. The two huskies were used by Ocean Drive Magazine to highlight pet adoption and try to get potential owners to adopt. Meanwhile, Hernandez had posted flyers around the neighborhood in the hopes that someone who had seen his lost dogs would contact him.

The ploy worked and Hernandez was soon contacted by someone. That person turned out to be the man who had originally found the lost huskies on the street. He explained to Hernandez that he had assumed that they were strays and that he had taken them to Animal Serves and that Hernandez should check with the organization.
Hernandez cannot contain his tears of joy
Hernandez rushed over to Miami Dade Animal Services to see if Ragnar and Kloud were there. Upon arriving, he saw both of his dogs taking part in the photoshoot outside. He ran up to the photoshoot, tears in his eyes.
“That’s my dog, man! That’s my dog,” Hernandez shouted at the group gathered outside.
Dropping down to his knees, he began to hug his dogs. Ragnar and Kloud seemed happy to see him as well, as they peppered his face with doggie kisses.
Hernandez learned a valuable lesson from the experience
Soon, the two dogs were back home with Hernandez where they belonged. As a result of the two dogs getting lost, Hernandez decided to get Ragnar and Kloud microchipped to avoid them getting lost in the future.
