Customer sees man cutting line, takes photo and realizes it's to pay for military meals

Hi folks, Bryant and Jenni here. We just wanted to share this awesome and heartwarming ‘thank you’ story for our brave members of the military.

The brave men and women in uniform put their own lives on the line to protect our values, our country, and our freedom. A simple “thank you for your service” can go a really long way, but sometimes, people want to give back in a more generous manner to show their gratitude and respect.

This story about a man and his son who were cutting the line in a fast-food restaurant in Alabama is a perfect example of just that.

Cutting the line is understandably very frowned upon, but when everybody heard why this man approached the counter, they couldn’t help but be touched.

The man noticed a bunch of soldiers and simply offered to pay for all of their meals.

It occurred at a Jack’s fast food restaurant in the morning, meaning that all of the servicemen and women waiting in line were treated for breakfast. One of the customers who was also standing in line, Levi Lawrence, managed to take a picture of him and the soldiers. The photo in the Holly Pond Jack’s restaurant quickly went viral when the bystander posted it on his personal Facebook page.

According to Lawrence, the kind man paid for no less than 12 meals, not counting his own family.

“Hopefully the people pictured won’t mind but shoutout to the gentlemen in blue with his son he saw all the uniformed military in jacks in holly pond this morning and proceeded to the front of the line and said I would like to buy all of their breakfast for them. He bought about 12 meals not including his own family’s. WE NEED MORE PEOPLE LIKE YOU SIR!” the bystander posted on his Facebook page.

It’s not really known where the military members were from, as there aren’t any military bases in the nearby proximity. Nonetheless – the uniformed men and women were definitely hungry, so this Good Samaritan stepped in.

The picture went viral on social media, and dozens of people from all over the world left behind supportive comments.

Even though the man was unidentified at first, people who saw the post were quickly able to tell us who the man was. And according to them – these acts of kindness are most definitely not out of character. It turns out that the man, Jeremy Williams, is truly a standup guy. Everybody praised him, and rightfully so.
