Man exclaims “those are my dogs” after spotting them in an adoption photo shoot
It was supposed to be a photoshoot to promote adoption but it became a reunion instead.
The photoshoot featured two Siberian Huskies.
They had recently been dropped off at the shelter.
Having purebred dogs highlighted for adoption is highly recommended to get more people interested.
That’s why these shelter newbies were most likely the ones chosen for this initiative.
Meanwhile, Sandy Hernandez, a fur dad, was filled with worry and anxiety because his children, Ragnar and Kloud, were missing for the entire weekend.
His two dogs had jumped the fence at home and had run off.
He had been busy putting up posters of the dogs all over the area, hoping someone has information about them.
Someone did have information on them.
Sandy received a call from a man who said he had found the dogs.
He had dropped the two Huskies off at the Miami-Dade Animal Services shelter and he needs to go there.
Sandy jumped in his car and sped off to the shelter. When he arrived, he couldn’t believe what he was seeing.
Two familiar faces on the sidewalk.
It was Ragnar and Kloud, his Siberian Huskies who have been missing all weekend.
He was so happy that he just slammed on the brakes and rushed over to hug the dogs.
The woman manning the photoshoot and the models were so shocked when this man suddenly came out of nowhere.
“Those are my dogs! Those are my dogs!” Sandy exclaimed.
He bent down to hug the two dogs, who rushed over to their dad.
The people involved in the photoshoot were so happy to witness this reunion.
One of the women explained what was happening but said that they were so happy for him and the dogs.
She hugged Sandy, who was just overwhelmed with emotions at seeing his furbabies again.
The dogs were very happy, too.
At first, they were just complacent and silent. But when they saw their dad, they kept jumping up and couldn’t sit still.
They were so happy daddy found them.
Ragnar is three years old while Kloud is 11 months old.
Sandy was so happy to see them that he just left his car in the middle of the lot and didn’t even get a chance to park it yet.
He had a copy of the missing dogs’ poster he had been putting up in his pocket.
But it was easy to know that Ragnar and Kloud belonged to him because of how excited they were when they saw him.
“They’re my life. Those dogs are my life,” Sandy said.
Sandy didn’t want to go through unnecessary worry anymore in case the dogs jumped the fence again in the future.
He decided to get them microchipped so that a quick scan will inform the authorities to contact him when they find the dogs.
A good decision on Sandy’s part.
A microchip is small and non-invasive.
It won’t hurt the dog and it will contain all the owner’s contact information so the dog can be returned home safely.
Of course, the owners need to remember to register the microchip in the database, or else there will be no information found on the microchip.
