Men naturally gravitate toward hardware stores.

All types of guys, and even kids love to stroll the aisles and check out all the tools and equipment on display. It’s a grown man’s toy store. They have everything from gardening tools, home appliances, switches, lights, to automotive.

As grown men, we would expect these guys to observe proper decorum while at the store, of course. For sure, they’ve been taught as kids to not touch anything on display.

Except for this guy.

But then again, how many hardware stores have an actual piano on display? Let alone allow customers just sit and play on?

He must have been just around and chanced upon the store and its piano on display. So he sits, cracks his knuckles, and plays. And wow.

He sings his heart out.

He’s got the rock and roll. What amazing talent. What we see right there is passion on display. Seems like he could care less about the attention and the money. It’s all about the music!

He’s doing some Boogie Woogie piano and singing along with it. Boogie Woogie was developed by African-American communities in the 1870s but only became popular in the 1920s. Since then, it has evolved into different variations all across the globe.

People like Brendan “Dr. K” Kavanagh, Ladyva, and Henri Herbert are a few of the big names that do Boogie Woogie. They have huge followings on YouTube blowing people’s minds off with their incredible talent.

So who is this guy playing on the piano? Well according to the description, he is just a,

“Random guy rocks a piano in a hardware store. Watch this guy play the living out of this unfinished piano in a hardware store. The piano isn’t even functional!”

Turns out, this guy has been a contestant on American Idol! His name is Jacob Tolliver and he’s quite the talent.

This piano punishing guy has over 6.6 million views and 44k likes.

Wherever he is, we hope he continues doing his impromptu playing whenever there’s a piano available. No one will complain that’s for sure.

Jerry Lee Lewis proved to the world that a man with a piano could lead a band and be front and center on the big stages. The man had a lot of controversial stories during his career, we are hoping this hardware boogie man doesn’t follow that path, at least.
