Man spots small dog trembling on side of road and runs right toward her
Animal homelessness is an issue not only in the US but also the rest of the world.
Thankfully, individuals, non-profit organizations, and other groups are giving these poor animals a safe and better place to live.
Maried couple Russel and Courtney Reynolds are just few of the millions of other people who have a soft spot for these neglected animals.
Drawn by fate.
One day, when the couple were diring on a road “in the middle of nowhere” in Georgia, Russell spotted a furry creature from afar.
It was a pup, alone on the roadside.
He decided to step out of the car to give the dog a closer look. When he was about to crouch to give the poor pooch an up-close check, the creature immediately jumped on him and started licking his face.
Right there, he immediately knew that the dog was harmless and perhaps, had been waiting for a human to help her.
A new-found furry friend.

Without thinking twice, Russel picked the dog up and the two shared a couple of warm hugs and snuggles.
With the dog in his arms, they walked towards the road and that’s when the couple started to figure what to do with their new-found friend.
However, Russell’s wife, Courtney, immediately knew the dog was coming home with them unless they could find its rightful owners.
The search is ON.
Russell and Courtney then drove the dog to PetSmart and bought her something to eat.
The rescued pup quickly gobbled in two bowl of dog food which proved that the dog had been out there in the open for quite some time.
Courtney even had a hunch that the dog hadn’t eaten in a month.
After feeding the dog, their next stop was at a vet clinic. They had her checked for any microchip to trace her owners if there were any, but they ended up scanning none.
No collar, no tag, no microchip, that simply meant they’re free to bring her home.
It was just the two of them when they left home but they came back bringing a new member of their family. Eventually, they named the rescued pup Romee.
Although Romee now has a human mom and dad, it was pretty obvious she has a special bond with her dad Russell.
“I love watching Romee and my husband because their relationship is unmatched. I’ve never seen anything like it. I loved it from the second he picked her up,” Courtney told The Dodo.The Dodo.
Romee’s adjustment only took about two days, after that, she completely fell in love with her new parents.
From strangers to best friends.
That’s how quick things changed, especially to Romee and Russell.
“Daddy loves ya,” that’s Rusell’s favorite line whenever he’s snuggling his new fur baby.
After a decent time of being the only fur baby, the couple soon took in another pup, Hallie. Usually, it will take time for a new dog to jive along with the resident pooch of a certain household.
However, that wasn’t the case for Romee and Hallie because they immediately clicked.
Being the resident dog and bigger sister, Romee is always protective and gentle toward her little sister.
The Reynolds, Romee, and Hallie, are now living happily and they couldn’t wait to create beautiful memories together.
