Veteran moms all have tricks for getting their babies to bed, and most are willing to share it! For some, it looks like a bottle of warm milk, and for others, it is a special blanket. For my mom, she used to put me in my baby carrier on top of the dryer when it was on! The rocking motion put me to sleep pronto. What do you do when it is a litter of puppies that you have to get to sleep? Well, this guy may have found out the trick.

This man has a magic voice for singing puppies to sleep.

I never had much vocal talent, but this guy really shows off! It isn’t his technical skill that makes his golden pipes so sought after; it’s the sleepy effect! This man can sing to a litter of fresh puppies and put them to sleep within a few seconds!

With the skill of a pro, this man shows us how it’s done.

The litter of puppies is quite loud at first! There is quite a bit of squealing and yipping happening! What can you expect, though? It’s a box full of puppies! These pups obviously just want to play with their owner. Playtime seems to be over, however, and bedtime is next on the calendar!

Like with any human toddler, bedtime is always an ordeal.

Most toddlers RESENT bedtime with a passion. They always need water or to go to the bathroom or whatever else they can think of to not lay in bed. Usually, there is some coercion required to get everyone in bed on time. That coercion can be a bribe or a promise for the next day. For this dog-dad, all he needs is his voice.

Getting down on his knees to see his squirming and excited pups, the man prepares to put them to sleep.

“Ok, let’s go to bed. Let’s go to bed”, says the man as he leans over the little crate. With a low and deep voice, the man starts to sing a little tune. There isn’t a reaction for about three seconds until…

Starting with the white puppy, they all settle down and drop off to sleep!

It looks like a magic spell was cast on these little guys! Within a few seconds of him starting to sing, they are all hunkered down and fast asleep. This guy has a magical voice!

Singing “Goodnite, Sweetheart, Goodnite” by The Spaniels, these Boxers were down for the count.

Melodic and low, he sings:

“Good night, sweetheart, well it’s time to go
I hate to leave you, but I really must say
Goodnight, sweetheart, good night”

The combination of the slow and repetitive way he sings along with the low tone he has makes for quite a lullaby. These pups have probably been conditioned to sleep when he sings after a few weeks of practice.

The woman who was watching was pretty blown away by the whole thing! She said:

“I wouldn’t believe it if I hadn’t seen it.”

I would probably agree with her. A magical voice and sleeping puppies are like something from a fairytale.
