Most of us are stuck at home right now, and not all of us are loving life. Things can get tense when you’re trapped up inside with others, and can also be intensely lonely if you aren’t cooped up with anyone else. Talk about a catch-22, eh? On the upside of things, though, there are endless furry, fuzzy faces all over the internet just waiting to make you smile.

What’s better than pictures of adorable puppies? Well, as it turns out, this insanely adorable video of a big litter of Golden Retriever puppies swarming their owner trumps every picture out there!

The couple in the video own and operate Edna Valley Golden Retrievers, based out of San Luis Obispo in California. They are top-notch breeders of “quality” Golden Retrievers. Though we’re inclined to believe all Goldens are quality, these fierce little guys come from champion bloodlines, and it shows.

The video opens with Kim Wurster standing at a safety enclosure that was about to be overwhelmed by the jumpy pups. She asks her husband, “are you ready?”

Trust us, no one could be ready for what came next…

As soon as she swings the gate out of their way, no less than 10 insanely eager puppies went flying through. It’s as if they were at a race and the shot just went off.

All of the 7-week-old pups had a single goal in mind. Dad was the finish line.

It’s almost too cute to watch as these puppies stampede toward their owner. You can hear Kim laughing in the background as her husband braces himself to be swarmed by puppy breath, claws, and kisses. We’ve gotta say, he’s a brave man wearing shorts and a T-shirt when he’s about to get taken down by this terrifying pack.

Nonetheless, Kim’s husband can’t help but excitedly call them over.

They all race toward him and start climbing up his legs to fight for his undivided attention. Clearly, with 10 puppies all dying to greet you at once, there’s no way he can give each one the time they deserve. That doesn’t stop them from trying to get it, though.

Kim’s husband is chuckling and cooing at the pups as they clamor for his attention. It’s all fun and games until they get serious, however. Not content to wait each of them for their turn, the puppies decide to overwhelm their breeder. They are pack animals and they’re smart enough to know that he can’t resist them all at once.

So they completely swarm him.

They crawl up onto their dad’s chest one by one until, finally, they get him to where he’s lying down on the ground. Now they’ve got him exactly where they want him and they’re all getting their kisses in. The doting dog breeder finally has to tap out. He puts his arms up over his face while the puppies trample over him to lick his face and snuggle up to him.

Of course, some of the puppies were clearly in it just for the fun of the takedown.

As soon as dad hits the ground, some of the pups jumped off of him and ran up to the porch to sniff out more interesting things. It’s obvious which of these puppies are daddy’s boys and which ones are a little more independent. All the while Kim is laughing herself to death in the background.
