Everyone on the planet, if they’re being honest with themselves, know that they can get a little lazy sometimes. Some of us more than others. Of course, animals are no exception. There are countless videos of lazy animals lounging about when they could be running around playing instead.

Out of all of them, though, there is one dog who is the laziest and her name, of course, is Lazy.

There is no question that Lazy comes by her name honestly enough. While she loves to go for fun outings to the dog park and to greet her dad, Lucho Bugallo, with a wagging tail every time he comes home, there is something that she loves much, much more than anything else.

Lazy’s favorite thing in the world to do is nothing. Absolutely nothing at all!

The senior dog, who’s 10-years-old now, lives in Argentina with her dad and knows beyond the shadow of a doubt that the best thing in life is to lie down somewhere outside and just soak up the sun. Sun-bathing in Argentina after a long day of doing nothing? Where do we sign up???

Lazy’s name isn’t an exaggeration of her nature, either.

She really does just love to be as lazy as possible, even when most other dogs would be excited. When her dad got married a few years ago, for example, there were people absolutely everywhere. She could have been slinking around sniffing at everyone and what they were eating, but nope. Instead, she just wanted to lounge around on the massive lawn in the Argentinian dusk, even when she was supposed to be taking a wedding photo with her family. Again, we can’t blame her a bit.

Apparently, neither did her family who lovingly gathered around her for the picture, so as not to inconvenience her with moving.

That was four years ago, back in 2017. At that time Lazy would have only been about 6-years-old, proving that this love of lounging definitely isn’t just something that’s come with age.

Just because Lazy is lounging, though, doesn’t mean she isn’t still playing.

The Golden Lab loves to make her humans stop and smell the roses, too, figuratively speaking. She’s a smart girl and knows what dad is about to do whenever she sees him. So, when she sees he’s going to clean, she makes sure to have a fit of laziness right where dad wants to work.

“At home we say ‘carpet,’ because she is lying on the floor all day. If you are going to move some place, Lazy first lies down in that place. If you’re going to sweep the floor of the house, Lazy just lies down where you have to clean,” Bugallo explains in an interview with TIME.

A few weeks ago, Bugallo got some video evidence of his lazy dog’s antics.

On February 17th, Lazy’s dad uploaded a video of him sweeping his pavement. Seeing as how his pup looked so perfectly content, he couldn’t bear to disturb her.

So, like any good dog dad would, Bugallo went out of his way to sweep around his sloth-like doggo.

The video is short but it’s the sweetest thing! Bugallo gets the majority of leaves off his pavement while he lets his girl hang out. After he’s got all the leaves cleared away from the pavement, all that’s left to do is clear the leaves from where Lazy was laying.

Bugallo takes his broom and gets it as close to his dog’s tummy as possible before sweeping the leaves out from under her. Then he goes behind her and lifts her tail to sweeps beneath that too.

Lazy’s dad even gently grabs both of her front paws and lifts her legs to sweep the leaves from under her.

Since being shared to his Facebook just a few weeks ago, Bugallo and his loving sweep-around method he uses when Lazy is present have gotten 589,000 views!

“She can spend all day lying down if she wants. In fact, that’s why we have pets, to make sure they’re happy,” Bugallo tells The Dodo.
