Make mouths water with this irresistible meat & potato roll recipe

Nothing says âgo-to mealâ like meat and potatoes.
Itâs not as plain as it sounds, either. See, potatoes are so versatile.
They can be enjoyed in countless ways: as the sole ingredient with just a bit of seasoning, as the co-star of the main dish, or as a snack.
Not only is this ingredient super flexible, but itâs also tasty and uncomplicated.
If youâve always thought potatoes are limited to junk food (gotta love those chips and mojos!) and sides, think again.

A lot of experts in the kitchen actually call this a cooking essential.
More than the number of techniques you can use to cook potatoes perfectly, youâll also appreciate how theyâre packed with Vitamin C, proteins, and fiber.
Potatoes have potassium, too, which is good for the heart, muscles, and nervous systemâno wonder all the best cooks never forget to stock up on potatoes.
The benefits are all there, and the dishes you can create are seemingly endless.

But letâs focus on this recipe which will no doubt satisfy your craving for meat and potatoes!
Itâs perfect for a comfort meal, a family lunch or dinner, or something to enjoy over good conversation as you entertain guests.
First, youâll need three sliced potatoes, a baking tray with baking paper on it, and 300 grams of cheddar cheese.
Spread the cheese all over the baking sheet.

Lay the sliced potatoes over the cheese and lightly season with salt.
Brush some vegetable oil over the potatoes â about two tablespoons will do. Then, pop the potatoes in the oven at 200â for 30 minutes.

Next up, the filling!
Add two tablespoons of vegetable oil and 500g of ground beef in a nice, hot pan. Mix well to cook evenly.
While your meat cooks, chop an onion and three green peppers and add them to the pan.
You know this is going to be good.

Donât forget the garlic.
Youâll need three cloves of garlic and about two tablespoons of tomato sauce. Again, keep mixing to make sure all the ingredients cook perfectly.
Then, add about 20g of tomato sauce.

Of course, you need to add more flavors.
Youâll need chili flakes, black pepper, cumin, thyme, and salt.
Then, three to four sprigs of parsley.
Itâs a simple dish, but itâs sure to be packed with flavor, so season away but donât go overboard.

Check back on your potatoes, which should already be cooked perfectly.
Once your baking tray is set on the counter, itâs time to spruce things up.
Add more cheese on top, then spread the meat filling all over.
Does it need anything else? Of course, it does â more cheese! Donât hold back.
Now for the best and final part: roll it up, sprinkle it with more cheese and parsley, and put it back in the oven for another ten minutes at 200â.

Doesnât this look fantastic?
Mouths will surely be watering when you place this meal on the dinner table.
