It’s always a fun thought to imagine what our loved ones do when we’re not around.

While you’re off at work or school, it’s hard not to wonder if your pets or kids miss you. Or if they’re making a mess of the house.

But at the end of it all, you’re just glad that someone loves you and misses you.

There are more than a couple of ways to stay updated on what your loved ones are doing back home.

Enter the home camera feed

There are pet sitters and babysitters, for one. But you can also install home security cameras, which is a popular choice for many pet owners.

I suppose it gives the pets a sense of freedom without sacrificing security.

And as a bonus, home security cameras open the door to capturing some adorable scenes you otherwise wouldn’t see.

Those scenes are just priceless, as the number of views on this one will tell you.

The subject? A Goldendoodle named Bella.

She’s home alone and misses her dad, who’s name is Scott. Her dad misses her just as much, but still has some way to interact with her while he’s away.

Scott’s home security cameras are installed at an ideal doggy-watching height.

They also have microphones installed so Scott can make voice calls through speakers installed with the cameras.

This is fantastic news for a dog like Bella, whose boundless energy and love need to be requited… a lot. And it got requited indeed.

Scott decided to check in on little Bella.

With speakers by the cameras at his disposal, he could speak to his precious girl over the phone whenever he needed.

He decided to record what the cameras captured, which was for the better as we’re all about to see.

“Where are you?” are the first words we hear.

Bella hears her dad’s voice and comes trotting out gleefully.

At just around half a meter tall (40-60 inches), Goldendoodles aren’t the biggest dogs.

But Goldendoodles can cover a lot of ground really quickly when they’re excited and playful. And Bella here is definitely proving that.

The breed is, after all, known for being playful. Most dogs certainly are, but not all of them have it in their blood.

Her dad asks her “Where were you? Were you getting in trouble?”.

Bella neither confirms nor denies. Maybe she’s a more well-behaved dog than we’d like to think. Though that’s not as important as what happens next.

Because Bella has a much more important message to give to him. The cutest part of all this, and the reason this video is so popular, is how Bella returns the love.

As her dad calls to her with “Hi cutie! Hi, Bella!”, she brings her precious face up to the camera and looks for her dad.

She can’t see him, but she knows it’s his voice coming from that speaker.

And she knows he can see her.

Bella plants a nice, big, loving kiss on the camera for her dad. It’s her way of letting him know she misses him too.

Don’t worry, he’ll be home soon, Bella!

Scott need not worry about Bella’s love for him running out, and the same can be said of Bella.

Dogs truly are precious, and they don’t stop being precious even when we’re not around.
