One of the joys of raising children is seeing them discover new things. When this baby learned to dance, she never wanted to stop.

In late 2018, Kaylan Thoen gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Sadie Raye Thoen.

Kaylan and her husband, Kevin, were over the moon. And ever since Sadie was born, she’s been amazing her parents. But her latest talent has gone viral all over the internet.

From day one, Sadie was an energetic little girl. Even before she could crawl, she just wanted to explore the world.

But when she did learn to walk, she soon also learned how to dance. And her performances must be seen to be believed. They’re just that cute.

One of Sadie’s most popular routines involves her swaying back and forth to 2 Legit 2 Quit by MC Hammer. For someone who is only one-year-old, she sure does have some amazing moves!

Another video shows her moving to Cars by Gary Numan.

A little later, Kaylan uploaded a video of Sadie boogieing to BOP by DaBaby while the girl was wearing leopard-print. It’s funny, because Sadie really is da baby.

Shortly after this, Sadie danced to Be My Lover by La Bouche. As with all the other songs, the baby rocked her hips back and forth.

And then Kaylan uploaded a video of Sadie dancing to Please Mr. Postman by the Marvelettes. This performance involved Sadie twisting about more.

Sadie will dance to literally everything, it seems! She has many, many other songs to boogie to!

Good Morning America saw Sadie’s dances and uploaded a compilation of them to its YouTube channel. This brought Sadie’s talent to a much wider audience.

In just a couple of weeks, the compilation video has been viewed almost 700,000 times. It also has over 11,000 likes and 800 comments. People have been saying things like this:

Of course, there’s nothing new about dancing babies going viral online. In fact, anyone who was online back in the early days of the internet may remember that one of the first-ever viral sensations was called Dancing Baby.

In 2020, it’s hard to believe that that footage was adored all around the world. This is especially true when you consider the fact that you can literally just upload a much cuter video of a real-life dancing baby instead of animated one.

But Sadie and the animated dancing baby from the 90s prove one thing beyond a doubt: people will love watching babies dance back and forth to the music.

Do tastes ever really change that much? Sure, the footage quality improves, but people still just want to see a little baby dance to a song.

Another thing that’s crazy to think about is the fact that Sadie’s mom, Kaylan, would have been just a little child when the original dancing baby video came out.

If that doesn’t make any viewers of the original dancing baby video feel old, what will?
