TikTok mom gives birth to a newborn the size of a toddler

Most of us have seen a TikTok trend where someone asks an unlikely question, and other users stitch the video and reply. That’s how it all began in this story. TikTok user Shans1588 was happy to share photos of her newborn from five years ago, and they are shocking.

You might think there’s nothing new about it. Many moms enjoy showing off their precious babies on social media. We love to watch babies. However, Shans1588’s baby boy was surprisingly big when he was born. Take a look at the video. He was the size of a toddler, and it’s mind-blowing.

The average length of babies at birth ranges between 18 and 22 inches.

Little J was a bit heavier when he was born. In fact, he broke all the norms when it comes to the size and weight of newborns. Shans1588 explained: “At 38 weeks and one day, I had my second son via c-section, by two doctors.”

The woman ended the video by saying that she gave birth to a toddler. So, how did we find out all of this?

Another TikTok user asked to see the world’s biggest babies.

One girl posted a video saying, “I wanna see who had the biggest baby. Whoever sees this video, tell me the weight of your biggest baby.”

Shans 1588 replied, “You wanna play the biggest baby?”

This mom knew it right away; it would be hard to beat her story.

Imagine being put through such a difficult c-section that two doctors have to intervene. Luckily, everything turned out well. Both the mother and the baby were fine. Baby-toddler J spent 11 days in the NICU.

Yes, he was the biggest baby in there.

However, baby J faced some fashion difficulties.

Because he came at a whopping 14 pounds point 6 ounces, twenty-three and three-quarter inches long, the NICU didn’t have the diapers or clothes for him.

They had to go to pediatrics and get the size three diapers.

J came home in clothing for babies who are 6-9 months old.

You might ask yourself whether or not J continued to grow at the same pace? Don’t worry, we wondered the same thing.

Today, J is a 5-year-old adorable boy.

Fortunately, the big baby grew up to be a healthy, stubborn, and strong boy who loves baseball, football, and Monster Trucks. Shans1588 posted a video compilation of J’s photos as he grew older. You can see that the kid grew up surrounded by love and kindness. His smile says it all.

We are beyond lucky that both of them are healthy. Shout out to all moms who go through pain while giving birth. The gift of motherhood is one of Mother Nature’s greatest miracles. We are proud of all moms and dads out there who strive to be the best parents to their kiddos, small and big ones.

Record-breaking births.

Do you ever wonder what’s the biggest number of children one person has had? According to the Guinness World Records, the answer dates to the 1800s. An unknown woman from Russia gave birth to 69 children: 16 pairs of twins, seven sets of triplets, and four quadruplets.

Another exciting record has a lot to do with J’s case. It’s about the heaviest and longest baby ever. In 1879, Anna Bates, a woman from Canada who was unusually tall, gave birth to a boy weighing 22 lb and measuring 22 inches. Sadly, the boy died 11 hours later. The heaviest twins were born to Mary Ann Haskin in 1924 in the USA.

There are many more records involving babies, but we’ll stop here. J didn’t break any record, but he indeed made his mom happy.
