Mom of three prepares extraordinary food art for her kids using eggs

Some kids like to have their sandwich sliced on the diagonal and with no crust. Many moms are happy to oblige as long as their kid eats what they need to stay healthy and full.

THIS mom goes to a whole different level. Mastering the art of kyaraben, Japanese for character bento, she creates incredible and detailed scenes with nothing but food. You would think that she works as a professional food designer but she learned and mastered this skill through parenting her three kids!

Check out these delicious works of art!

1. Winnie the Poo (with a side of rice)

This stunning piece is a scene of Winnie the Poo enjoying himself on top of a bowl of rice. Etoni mama (her name) used an egg and the whites to create this masterful scene.

2. The Nightmare Before Breakfast

These may be a bit harder to spot, but when you do, it will take your breath away. Hidden on the yolk is the famous scene in “Nightmare Before Christmas”. While I am not sure what she used to design it, it is beautiful and edible!

3. Mulan and Seaweed

She got down to business! It almost looks like she painted the scene on a sheet of seaweed. Using a collection of different foods, Etoni mama created a 3-d Mulan.

4. A Toy Story

Using a basted egg, this scene shows a movie classic, Hamm, who is present in the Toy Story series. It looks like she even used a piece of hot-dog as the nose!

5. Too soon?

Being inventive with this one, we can see three faces from the yolks, all wearing masks. I guess if you don’t laugh during touch times it makes it worse, right?

6. Pikachu

This rice bowl has an electrifying companion. The famous partner of Ash Ketchum, Pikachu is always a staple of many Japanese art expressions.

7. Olaf and Eggs

Someone must be a Frozen fan in the house. Turning these eggs into Olaf is sure to make the kids happy.

8. The Three Little Pigs

Having three small kids, it seems like they each got one of these pigs. Is it appropriate to serve them with a side of bacon? Who knows.

9. Minions

Using egg yolks and seaweed as the design elements of choice, two mischievous minions are brought to life. My favorite detail is the little wisps of hair.

10. The only achievable one for me

These little sunflower eggs look super cute and simple. So far, these are the only ones that I would even attempt!

11. Charlie Brown

This little duo is a throwback for sure. Charlie Brown is a classic and the colors fit perfectly in this style! The little sausages on the side add texture with their little slices in them.

Please SHARE this with your friends and family.

12. Mickey Mouse

Finishing with this one, it is exceedingly cute. The small details like the spoon and the plate all point to someone who loves Disney!

Conclusion

While many of these are WAY out of my realm, it is a great inspiration to be more creative with my food prep. For all you moms out there with picky kids, maybe give one of two of these a try!
