A family of 8 from Perth, Australia announced they will be growing to be a family of 10 this year. Chloe Dunstan and her husband Rohan “Ro” have been on quite a journey to bring their beautiful babies into the world. When several years ago they learned they were bringing in their 4th child along with their three babies that were already 3, 2, and 1.

It can be difficult when juggling 3 babies along with a newborn, but Chloe and Ro were over the moon to build their big family. Chloe was then 22, and Ro 26, when they found out their 4th child was actually a set of three… that’s right triplets! Chloe and Ro were going to be parents of 6 kiddos under the age of 3. Evan, 3, Otto, 2, and Felix 1 were all about to be the big brothers of three new little beings.

Chloe had to deliver her triplets Pearl, Rufus, and Hank, three months early because Pearl was being deprived of oxygen and wasn’t able to get enough nutrients. Chloe’s doctors feared Pearl wouldn’t survive and hoped delivering the three early would save baby Pearl. So Chloe made the decision to deliver her three musketeers early at 28 weeks.

Overcoming Hardships

They came out very tiny and all had to get blood transfusions to survive. Pearl had a long recovery ahead of her but remarkably despite her setbacks she came out a true warrior. Chloe explained her difficult decision and Pearl’s journey saying,

“I feel guilty for having the boys delivered when they were growing so well in the womb. But Pearl would have died if we didn’t deliver early, so I will never regret that. Pearl had a PDA in her heart that closed on its own. She had a pulmonary hemorrhage, a minor brain bleed, she fought a horrible infection and there were days we weren’t sure if she would make it, especially the early weeks when she was on a ventilator.”

Chloe and Ro’s tireless journey with the triplets was a true test of strength. After the fear of the triplet’s health conditions, Chloe decided to get her tubes tied post-delivery. But on Mother’s Day 2020 Chloe made a huge announcement to all of her 384 thousand Instagram followers.

Her exciting news received plenty of support and positive feedback from all of her followers. Chloe who is now 27 will be delivering her twins in November. While she informed everyone that she and Ro decided to get the procedure tubal ligation reversal. She wrote on Facebook,

“We chose this option over IVF as I regretted having them tied and wanted to restore my fertility,”

“We are thrilled to share with you all that we are welcoming two little beans to our family,”
