Flávio Dantas and Tarsila Batista were filled with joy when their little princess, Antonella, was born in August of 2019.
Like many parents tend to do, Flávio often talked to his little girl through mama’s belly.
And he made it his mission to say sweet things to her every single day.

Mom Tarsila told Brazilian magazine So Noticia Boa (with a Google translation):
“He always told her that he loved her very much. He would say good morning when he went to work, when he arrived, he said good afternoon.”

Tarsila noticed that it was actually having a positive effect.
“Amazingly it always seemed, at the same time every day, she started to move.”
According to WebMD, there are studies that suggest babies who are spoken to in the womb “can actually tell the difference between their mother’s native tongue and foreign languages just hours after they are born.”

When Antonella was born at Marcilio Dias Naval Hospital in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, she was already bonded to her father.
As soon as he leaned in to say “hello” she immediately recognized his voice and responded with a beautiful smile!
It’s like they were old friends who were just seeing each other for the first time after a long absence.

Even more remarkable is that Antonella was born on August 11, 2019, which also happens to be Father’s Day in Brazil.
Flávio proudly shared on his Instagram, “I am a happy father and I will live this way because by my side lives the love of my life. I love you daughter.”

The happy new daddy said that his love for Antonella was “too big to fit inside his chest.”
