Mornings are hard. Most days, you have to get up really early and get ready for work. This baby is years away from work, but she’s already preparing for it!

All things considered, Calina had had a pretty easygoing first week of her life.

She was born. That was the hard bit. And for the next five days, she mostly lay around and relaxed, like she was on a well-earned vacation.

Still, on the sixth day of her life, she woke up feeling exhausted. So she started stretching out.

As she stretched, she made a big yawn, clearly waking up fully.

After some more stretching around, she opened her eyes, as if going, “Oh yeah, I’m in this place now. I dreamed I was back in that small room.”

Calina’s dad then said hi to his child. The baby, still getting used to the sound of her father’s voice and still tired, struggled to interpret the noise.

Soon, the baby was wide awake. But she still looked confused. It’s understandable, seeing as she had no idea of the existence of the world just one week ago.

Luckily, Calina’s father, Rex, was filming this amazing moment. He then uploaded it to YouTube, where it went viral. To date, the video has gained over 2.6 million views. It also has more than 12,000 likes and 800 comments. People have been saying things like this:

Calina soon got used to the world. By the age of just three months, she was already trying to use a spoon to eat with.

Sure, she ended up making a mess, but no one can deny that it was an impressive attempt at eating just like a grown-up!

By the time she was six months old, Calina was already trying to talk.

Calina couldn’t form words, but she was trying her hardest. It was easy to tell that she was attempting to convey meaning with the noises that she was making. Rex kept up a conversation with her, making her feel just like a grown-up.

And when Calina reached 10 months, she had started to crawl.

To get the baby to crawl, Rex set her down on the floor and pretended to sneeze (this always made her laugh.) Then he set a tub of food on the floor close to him and encouraged Calina to reach it. Soon, the baby was shuffling ever closer to the tub.

After a few tries, Calina was starting to crawl with much more confidence.

But the most important thing to happen to Calina recently is that she got a baby brother.

Calina was now an enthusiastic toddler. She had been looking forward to meeting her baby brother, Caiden, for months. Caiden had to stay in the hospital for several days. Luckily, Calina was able to visit the hospital on the day of the birth and meet her brand new sibling.

Soon, Calina was holding her baby brother, with the help of adults of course, and kissing him. Caiden sure is lucky to have an older sister like Calina!
