One of the things that most people look forward to the most – especially the newlyweds themselves – is probably the first wedding dance together. Some couples decide to go with a more traditional routine that is quite popular at weddings, but some like to take it up a notch or perform a dance that holds a special meaning to them.

Some couples even prepare months for their wedding dance, and it’s even not uncommon to enlist the help of a professional choreographer for a tailored dance sequence.

This adorable couple from Poland, Ada and Mateusz, decided to recreate one of their favorite dance routines ever and use that as their wedding dance: a popular sequence from the classic movie “Dirty Dancing”.

Of course, the popular sequence does include the most spectacular moment that everyone who’s seen the movie can remember: it’s the moment when Patrick Swayze lifts Jennifer Grey high up in the air. When the audience realized that the couple started to do a Dirty Dancing routine, everyone looked forward to this moment in particular.

The two looked absolutely stunning for their wedding dance.

The sleeveless lace dress that the bride was wearing was absolutely perfect for a rather energetic dance routine, and husband Mateusz was dressed up in a classy black outfit.

As you can see in the video below, these two absolutely nail the dance routine and the guests are all cheering the newlyweds on with enthusiasm, joy, and excitement. As for the two lovebirds themselves, the smiles on their faces should say enough.

At the end of the video, the most-anticipated moment of the dance finally arrives.

Ada and Mateusz absolutely nailed the performance and the lift was stunning. The whole audience erupted in cheers as Ada and Mateusz gave each other a warm hug and kiss to end their performance.

Luckily, a videographer was present at the wedding to capture the whole dance in amazing detail.

The company decided to share the video on YouTube where it quickly went viral!

As a matter of fact, the incredible dance routine by this adorable couple has been seen almost eight million times. Everybody simply adored it!

Some people even admitted that the lift was absolutely perfect.

“I must have watched this movie 100 times and the lift ALWAYS gives me chills. This couple nailed it perfectly. Outstanding performance,” Barbara Lenox said.

“Excellent – more enjoyable than the original in my opinion. Happy Anniversary you two. Hope married life together is as good as your dancing together,” Ivy Murphy left behind.

“The wedding couples nowadays pay huge attention to the first dance and they always try to prepare something unforgettable both for them and for the guests. A very common thing is to even attend special dance classes,” Polish website Partners on the Road states.

In any case, the dance was absolutely amazing and will be remembered by everyone in attendance for a very long time!
