The 12-year-old Bri’Anna Harper and her uncle Joseph Clarke from Virginia have won over the hearts of the internet with an absolutely amazing cover of “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.”

The song classic was first written by Ashford and Simpson in 1966, a popular Motown duo. The song itself was released a year later and was performed by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell, instantly hitting the charts and eventually peaking at number 19. Three years later, Diana Ross released a new rendition of the song with her own soul touch added to it – and this version managed to hit the number one spot at the peak. Since then, it’s become one of those songs that is just an essential part of society’s collective memory. And for the comic movie lovers out there, you’ll definitely recognize it from Guardians of The Galaxy too.

You can just see the special bond of this musical duo, and the most important thing about them is just making fun and sharing it with the rest of the world. The video was probably shot in their living room while they’re wearing everyday clothes, and it gives the viewer a warm, cozy, and familiar vibe that definitely adds to the charm of the performance.

We probably all know how the classic by Marvin Gaye goes, as there’s an instrumental introduction for the first couple of seconds of the song. You can notice how both Bri’Anna and Joseph are preparing for the lyrics and can’t wait to unleash their powerful voices.

As soon as Joseph starts hitting that first note, viewers know that they’re in for quite a treat.

This musical duo is simply mesmerizing! It’s incredible how much passion and clarity can come from a 12-year-old girl’s voice, and it’s just enough oomph and power that will make many professional singers jealous. Even though they’re in their living room, neither of them are holding back and give their all to deliver this stunning rendition.

It’s also remarkable just how well these two complement each other. Joseph manages to nail the lower tones quite well, while Bri’Anna’s voice is more fragile and precise. Add in the instrumentals, and you’ve got a cover video that is absolutely worth watching. Little Bri’Anna even has an eye for the viewers, she’s definitely not camera shy and afraid to approach the viewers.

Joseph actually works as a vocal coach and sings in an a capella music ground, Resound.

We’re pretty sure that Bri’Anna has got a great coach to train her beautiful voice. The 12-year-old certainly is talented, which definitely shows when they’re both singing the chorus together.

Of course, the performance must end with a bang – and it’s with every bit of passion, energy, and soul as in the rest of the song.

At the moment, Bri’Anna and Joseph’s video has been viewed almost 600,000 times on Instagram and is popular on YouTube as well.
